You won't feel that stitching at all with a chamois! The hairy underside just added a new image to my disturbing images mental cache.

I think it's vinyl lacing, looking at it closer. I initially thought it was sinew or leather.

I think it is a "gold" metallic vinyl coated lacing?

Wait a second, these are there frames that have everything backwards, right? Aluminum fork and stays transmit the road buzz to the saddle and handlebars, while the carbon is for lightness. It's been said that if it were the other way around it would make for a compliant ride.
