^^^^^^^ eBay idiot seller's guide to bicycle types:
* Drop handlebar - "English racing bike"
* Upright handlebar - "Mountain bike"

There are no other types.

"Elevated chain stays" refers to some sort of anti-gravitics, apparently:

I was just about to post this. Wacky, maybe. Creepy for sure, at least that's how it struck me.

I was maybe going to post this in the "are you looking for one of these" thread until I saw the top tube "dents and scratches."

1989 GT Karakoram - $145 (Lakeville, MN)

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...2-2ecc10c46699

what are these? hatchet wounds?

Very cool 1989 GT Karakoram. Completely intact and in great original condition. The only thing that isn’t original are the tires and saddle. Cool frame, retro components, and all around hoot to ride. The rear shifter needs a little attention. Top tube does have some dents and scratches. All the cool GT branding is largely intact on this great bike.

"Fuji road racing bike," that looks like a fixie/SS with track dropouts. Not a bad price, actually.

^^^^ Photo is too low res to be sure (WW points for hectares of photo blackspace), but that MIGHT just be a T R E K seat stay cap from the pre-fastback era.

Re. that Karakoram, that's just painful to see. I'd be tempted to look into having a single S&S coupling installed, just to save the frame. (I suppose logistically you'd have to do the downtube as well.)

One other. "Schwinn", when in doubt, it's a "Schwinn".

That guy is a scammer. Been doing it for a few years. I flag it when I see it and so have others.
