Yes, I got a "price drop" email from eBay a couple days later. The "discount" was something like $29,000.

Oh boy, this is one where I THINK we're just looking at straight-up ignorance/assumptions made based on lack of familiarity, or no ability to distinguish between a thing that they may have seen vs. what this actually is... a quick search shows that a bike like this would have been like $2xx.00 something, and this $700 price is preposterous.

My, my. If you buy it, seller warns you that you might have a hard time getting parts to rebuild it. And you might use a *****load of either Evaporust or Oxalic acid (or both).

This is a rare find. Vintage 1988 Bianchi steel frame (the guy I bought it from 5 years ago said it was raced in the velodrome in the 1988 Summer Olympics). It has a couple rust spots on the outside but the inside is solid.
I have built this bike from the wheels up, and put about $2,300 into it.
The back wheel is a Japanese “H Plus Son” deeeep rim, with a Phil Hub. The front wheel is a Velocity Deep V with a Phil Hub.
It has a Tompson seat post, custom Campy seat clamp, and Campy headset. The handle bars are made by Sim Works, a spin off of Nitto.
The cranks are Sugino Messengers. Note: there is a little bit of rust around the bottom bracket outside but I had it inspected by a mechanic and he said the inner part of the bottom bracket is still good to go.
This is an insanely fast, lightweight fixed gear. I can pick it up with one finger! It is ready to ride!
The tires are getting older but they are Gatorskins and last an extremely long time
