Insane that someone actually built this! I once heard a, probably made-up, story about a tugboat captain who had a boat where the steering wheel was reversed for some reason and he kept almost killing himself driving home at night in his car . . . so he had his car's steering reversed too. The punchline is that someone tried to steal the car and drove straight into a tree.
If you've ever made the mistake of grabbing the left side of your handlebar with your right hand while riding, or vice versa, then you'll know just how programmed your brain is to steer the way you're used to. Unlearning this for the sole purpose of playing a really stupid and kind of cruel trick on people seems beyond dumb to me. On the other hand, as an anti-theft measure . .. .
Bikes are okay, I guess.

It's a replica of most of the junk bikes donated to our local co-op.

I don't care how you tilt that saddle, something will go numb and maybe not wake up.

Maybe they are selling it because it does not ride very well with the current setup?

I really feel sorry for the folks who buy a bike that was assembled by an inexperienced clerk. Surely though, sometime, somewhere, they will encounter someone who will say, "Gee, that's not right". Don't you think?
Maybe they are selling it because it does not ride very well with the current setup?

That's maybe worth $500 for the wheels, brooks, thompson, and surly. Add in $1 per headset spacer, and you're in the black!

I was pretty happy with the price and it meant I could stop my quest for a top tier vintage touring bike.
