"Cup holders":

Vintage Bianchi Celeste Cup Holders

Come on! I'm sure that everyone here - especially @Bianchigirll - knows they're wine bottle cages - not cup holders

I like my Takaras, they are well built and in damn good condition and I bought them in ridable condition. But I don't have in both of them what this seller wants plus shipping for a frameset in horrible condition. In fact every Takara offered on eBay is priced ridiculously. I don't know that I would give a C note to get the Takara I rode in high school back.

You all know how I feel about gas pipe LOL and if they dropped the zero off the price I might even pick it up for "s#its and giggles". I like the color and it appears to be in decent shape, if you're gonna dream might as well dream big......

Are vintage BMX items so in demand that a pair of Oakley grips - in deplorable condition - are worth a $149 ask?

Judge for yourself:

Check out some of the links from feedback of other stuff this guy has sold,

https://www.ebay.com/itm/225350812498
https://www.ebay.com/itm/225352890048
https://www.ebay.com/itm/225085701686

If those are not just sock-puppet self-sales for self-promotion, this guy is raking in bank for old bmx parts

But yeah, I think those grips are, ahem, overpriced

I also noted the dood lives in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Used to have an apartment there back in the early 2000s.

Thanks for the links; at least those auctions were for parts that didn't appear salvaged from a dumpster behind the LBS

(To my knowledge, my CL ad didn't end up posted on this Hall of Shame)

This one hits that rare blend of intentional comedy and a reasonable listing. I'd buy it if the seller would respond.

Merckx bike frame Campagnolo needs front end work - $10 (Portland)

$10
That’s right
$10

No low ballers
I know what I have
