Alls I can say is, don't fool yourself into thinking there are magic words you can put into the ad that will guarantee nobody will ever try to make a lower offer. That's like trying to tell fish not to breathe water.
Also, fwiw, the wording "no lowballers" implies to me "you can send me lower offers, but cmon don't be ridiculous, like if I'm asking $100, don't waste my time with $10". So offering $250 on a $450 ask is marginal whether I'd think of it as "lowballing" or not. $300 in my opinion would not be a "lowball" offer (although as a seller of course you have every right to still say no).
I agree that "firm" is maybe better wording, but still you gotta expect: bidders gonna bid

Campagnolo rare frame!!
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...1154478447549/
"Up for sale 1 of my favorite bikes its a campagnolo frame with campagnolo parts its a collectors bike or people who knows about history
Bike has the insignia stamped on the frame.
As we all know Campanolo didn't sell bikes, but they had the frames to test fit their Campagnolo parts, so they stamped the Campagnolo
in their frames. Having said that, it's even harder to find this frames, if they were for sale, plenty of frames would be around, but they didn't.
So here is a rare drop out campagnolo bike with campagnolo parts."
Hmmmm.

This seller seems a bit...........delusional:

Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225463564270?hash=item347eacf7ee:g:kl0AAOSww~VkBEv~&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoMUir7GnPG8M2btvO0bnV%2F4QT Ob28OewkxRKtJVRGYK%2Fqb5YXwJBFnhNyi4%2F7002quXGOTgSqxHth6VXeR2ToK2Z2vwtULOg7Ds9jSCGBd3zpbp%2BuFHaFN9 FS10yX0xsuKGxKzCz%2BJbZLgSXobxibk%2BWCRuMxQAp9gm0gYXkM7s87Wm5BQdoj6UkwqgizB4tAXB4Rx19Mw5fiDdGzvJxjeE %3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR6rc4M3WYQ#LISTING_FRAME_MODULE
Note he doesn't provide a photo which displays the opposing sides of the levers (this is important)...
Full disclosure: a couple weeks back, he listed a pair of SR chainrings - the big ring was Bianchi pantographed, and talked up in exactly the same manner (STORED seems to be his suggestion that his items are take-offs). Problem is, he provided zero photos of the opposite side of the rings - and even worse, wouldn't provide representative photos when I made an inquiry. I suggested if he did, he'd have a better chance of realizing their true worth (they were used, but not overly so - but the opposing side gets wear, too, and it was impossible to make an informed decision. I passed). The pair ended up going for stupid-low money: 77 bux.
Now he wants $500 for these obviously-used and slightly abused levers with Euro Asia Imports re-pop hoods - the worst re-pops ever. I term this sales tactic "lying by omission".
Sorry for the rant; this is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to auction photos which seem (are?) intentionally deceptive.
IF those are worth 500 bones, I should be able to finance a new car with mine:

I think the seller should stick to plants - or stop smoking them.
DD

Prince of the Royal City
Yep, that's' your opinion, I respect that, its just when people do the 50-60% puts me off negotiating, which is my opinion.
Prince of the Royal City
I read my ad again and I don’t see how you come to that conclusion.
I was upfront as to what I wanted and not, but this person was rude and projected onto me.
Sometimes people project onto others due to not wanting to take responsibility for their behaviour and therefore blame the other party. And other times, people defend bad behaviour due to they see this quality within themselves.
I’ve had one or two negotiated with me but with more tact. That I’m open to not blame.

Even at $6.00 it may be over priced.

genuine team raleigh fixie

At first I thought, who would turn a Team Raleigh into a fixie?!? Not even a Brooklyn hipster would do that! Then I actually looked at the frame.
