This bike has been for sale for awhile. To the owner, I guess it looks best from 20 ft away. Craigs allows for 24 pics, but 5 of basically the same perspective from 20 ft away probably seemed best.

A lot of thought went into this PX10 build. Who wouldn't want to spend $900 here? That classic French fit! And the juxtaposition of the crank and the rear derailleur has a real ... uh ... je ne sais quoi.

What's so crazy about this ad? Is it because new ones can be had at a slightly lower price?

Love the optimism (if not the spelling). Seller stresses bike has the "death fork"...

I wonder if a person bought it and then had an injury, could they successfully sue the seller if the seller didn't stress that the bike should not be ridden....????

Well, it is illegal to sell a recalled product. From the CPSC website:

"Is it okay to sell a recalled product if it’s in good shape and hasn’t caused me any problems?

No, selling recalled products is unlawful. Additionally, many online sales platforms specifically prohibit the sale of a recalled product."

Maybe Yamaha will still honor the recall. Shimano did with my 20-year-old cranks a few months ago.

From the ad:

If interested in this bike you know all the basics about it.
This one looks more ride-worthy than others currently posted.
Derailleurs work.
Brakes work (pads hard so squeaky).
Special features about this one:
Rigida Chrolux Chromage Superior made in France wheel set.
Zoom in on photos:
Chrome fork crowns
Pin-striped frame lugs
Top of chainstay paint accents
Fork decals
Brazed on pump stays
Paint and decals not perfect but very
respectable.
Springer seat not original (made in Japan).

Not sure of frame size but CL Post requires it (not noted on any of the decals).

An overpriced UO-8! I like how people assume that because it is french, it must be high end. I'm a little sad that it doesn't have the original saddle, but I do enjoy that the seller highlights the textured steel rims.

Circuit Bender

This one had been posted for a while. Had been trying to figure how the seat stays could be so bent with the chain stays seemingly straight? and how they would have bent them?
https://offerup.com/item/detail/1594127659

New ad was posted they seem to have "straightened things out"

I think he "unbent" them. The stays just don't look right.

Agreed; no "lens issue" can show distortion like the original pic, without also distorting the spokes and the stairs in the background. The appliance-white paint job doesn't exactly instill confidence either.
