Or vice versa? People ride bikes into walls in Italy, too.

I wonder if this seller ever actually sells something or if it's just tricking the wife into thinking he's selling his bike stuff.

These 2 Bikes were made by Me. The price is $150 for both .I want to sell both at one time. The long one was made in 1991 and the short one was made around 2010. The long one works well, just needs tire tubes replaced and the short one works except for a balance issue, but probably can be solved by making the fork go low and back up to the front tire axle.I have seen this on cycles with longer Forks. The short one also needs brake cables. The reaason Im selling is I am older now and am trying to remove lots of items from my world. These could be maybe used in fairs, parades or something just as an idea for their purpose

Stumpjumper frame can be yours for $200 plus shipping! In “pre-owned” condition.

This frame is sadly unrepairable nor unrestorable,it is not even in preowned nor in mint condition. More a stumpjunker frame than a preowned or mint condition stumpjumper frame

The bike itself is droolworthy, but the price is delusional.

I don't get it — care to explain what's wacky? About the saddle or the crank, either or both. Just curious.

jolly_codger 06-01-24 08:00 AM

The cut out on the saddle is for physiological reasons, not ventilation.
The listing title states that the compatible BB is Octalink when Isis type is clearly displayed on crank arms.

SoCaled 06-01-24 09:40 AM

Some real questionable conclusions (Carbon fiber Di2?) they are honest anyway

I have a Selle Royal Respiro saddle which has an "air ventilation system". The "system" consists of mesh panels under the nose and cut out of the saddle designed to allow air to flow up through the cut out. The saddle is very comfortable but it doesn't feel any cooler than any other saddle with a cut out.

RubeRad 06-01-24 01:26 PM

yah crotches be hot, there's no getting around it

OK, got it. Debatable on the saddle, but Isis versus Octalink is a fair cop. I'm too vintage for that, never worked on either of them, wilfully ignorant about them and I hope I can blissfully stay that way.
