actually at $400 this might be a great deal! it looks like Chorus or Athena but I believe the "Number Tab" might be a Zefal clampon pump peg LOL

I think the owner just longs for Pamplona at this time of year...

I thought your remark was funny, so I wrote to the guy. That was on April 20. Today (!) he wrote back thusly:

I don't have picture of the bike. it is metal made. Red color, It is man schwinn bike. it is almost new. Have not used it. I do not know about speed but I paid 180 for it.
OK, whatever.

Why would someone think a repainted bike would be worth so much? I'm assuming that this is actually an 83 Team, but if that is the case, it looks like noglider shorted himself on his sale.

1984 Fuji Trainer Bike - $1500 (Conway & Hoffner)

Collector's item - original owner bought in Monterey, CA for race training in triathlons and only used for that purpose. Has been restored from original dark brown color to dark purple. Original rims.

If interested call Sid at 407-251-XXXX to see it.

Ditch the Fuji (or go and get it, like yesterday ). This is a late 90s Peloton. 853 frame, Ultrega components. The right brifter alone is worth the $75.

I don't know if this should go somewhere else, but with the odd bends in the downtube and seat stays, I wonder if this is right. No seat tube??? Is it some kind of kids bike?

Then there's this yo-yo.

"Sure I want to sell this thing, but I just had to include pictures of me and my buddy jumping it. The frame is only a little tweaked,... really."

They are just shrewdly targeting the Peter Griffin's of the world.

Lois: Then let's just...

Peter: We'll take the box.

This one belongs here, not because of the price or anything, but because of the blurb that goes with it:

https://allentown.craigslist.org/bik/1732406830.html

RARE VINTAGE SCHWINN JAPAN ROADBIKE Super Lite Frame - $100 (BATH PA 18014)

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((THE PICTURE BELOW IS WHAT MY BIKE LOOKS LIKE. THE PICTURE BELOW IS NOT MY BIKE. THE PICTURE BELOW, THE BIKE IS IN BETTER CONDITION THEN MINE. MY CAMERA IS BROKE SO I USED A PICTURE CLOSE TO WHAT MY BIKE LOOKS.)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) $$$$$$$$$$PRICE $100.00 OR BEST OFFER!$$$$$$$$$$$
RARE SCHWINN a super high quality JAPANESE ROADBIKE - the standover height over the top frame tube is 34 1/4 inches and this size bike will fit most tall adult riders around 6"2 and taller - this bike has a lightweight 64cm steel frame and remember steel is real - this vintage bike has chrome ARAYA rims. The shifters are located at the handlebar stem - a very nice bike - LOOK CLOSE AT THE JAPANESE QUALITY
((((CONDITION))) BIKE IS FAIR AND COMPLETE. Rims have some rust spots, paint has some scratches. The brakes could use some adjusting, but do work. The bike can be riden the way it sits right now. These bikes are hard to get and that's because there made with Japan Quality!
