[h=2]special needs tricycle - $100 (Avon)[/h]

this is a great condition bike with good tires and all, needs nothing

Um, exactly what 'special needs' condition would require such a weird off-road tricyle??

That trike looks to be larger, tougher, and more stable than the average toy, so presumably it's for a larger child that has some kind of issue with vision, balance, weight, or they have a mental condition that precludes learning to ride a 2-wheeler.

man screw BBC.

I feel bad for the dummy who bought this thing:

In the summer i always see the same guy riding around on something very similar to that with a cowboy hat, leather vest with no shirt and jeans. I guess he doesn't realize how stupid he looks. Just get a motorcycle already.

[h=2]Rare Vintage Bike - $1000 (Sacramento)[/h]Offering for sale is my rare, vintage post-war Huffy. This small-framed exotic beauty was personally ridden by the Emperor of Japan at the Blessing of the Harvest in the 1960's. After being transported to the US, it was lovingly stored on a third story balcony two blocks from the ocean in San Francisco. The beautiful ocean-spray patina has been enhanced by 10 years of cat spray and the nests of small spiders during its storage in a field near Sac. Complete and ready to ride, except for the wheels, seat, handlebars and pedals, which were stolen and sold for scrap. The large, gaping crack in the downtube is unique to this vintage machine, and adds to its amazing vintage ness. I will only accept bids by email from 2:44 to 4:20 pm on odd numbered Thursdays. Please include the word " nut job " in the subject. I will post numerous large but unfocused and inverted pictures after the Swiss appraisers have finished their certificate of Authenticity. This rare vintage bike will sell quickly, I know, because EBay

Well not made in Nottingham my best guess is this one is actually Candian. Very nice bike but not worth any where near $300 maybe $100 to a lover of kanuck bikes.

Actually that type of tricycle is advertised as an "off road tricycle". They are sold at places like Northern Tool, Harbor Freight, and Tractor Supply. The people who frequent those types of stores sometimes live in unpaved areas, have gravel driveways, etc, In other words, people in the country. If you have a gravel driveway or live on a dirt road, a regular hard wheeled trike will simply not work at all. Kind of an ingeniuos idea actually?,,,,BD

My kids had one similar to this that was sold by John Deere. It came with a 2-wheeled wagon. None of them were disabled, and they loved it. I agree that the front wheel needs to be turned around.

Talk about a rash of checked out owners offering sky-high prices on not-so-great-bikes (some with cottered cranks):

https://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/3622562108.html
[h=2]Raleigh super course, two - $700 (Colbert)[/h]

TWO, Raleigh Super Course,
Ten speeds,
Great shape, a little dusty,
Most of the original equipment,
They need little TLC and they're ridable,
Turn them into a single speed,
I'm the original owner,

These are CLASSIC

I havet ridden these in YEARS, they just collect dust. they're in great shape.

Both for $700.00 or $450.00 each.

Heck, make me an offer for the two of them,

Umm, that's two Raleigh Super Courses? At least one, maybe both with Capella lugs(rarity), and one with a Brooks, for $700? Not so unreasonable, but maybe a little high perhaps. If I lived there I would be considering it. They both look like a good cleaning away from looking amazing,,,,BD

Now, a ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR Huffy is quite another thing indeed!

Yep, after researching the pics, and placement of the shifters and wall brace, both have Capella's. A great find if someone can get a deal on them. It helps me not at all, that they appear to be in my size range.,,,,BD
