What? Since when did folks start charging for test rides? Did this person actually believe that he would charge me a buck fifty to try it out on any other day?

Your link doesn't work. Try THIS.

The item is in France, and I'll betcha the seller screwed up his currency conversion.

Thanks! I guess I got the process for adding the link wrong. I basically cut/pasted it from the top of the page on the auction. I'm guessing that's not the correct way to do it?

I'm not sure, but I think the link not working has something to do with the fact that you found the item during a search, which adds a lot of garbage.

Basically, if an eBay link doesn't work for me I look for the item number in the link and precede it with: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item= ....

That usually gets me to the item. In your case, it was https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=370235055340.

Yeah, that's us.

A buddy at work who rides once asked me what he could do on the bike to make sure nobody thought he was just another drunk.
Tell him to ride a bike that fits. Nothing screams DUI more than an adult riding their kids bikes that are two sizes too small.

I didn't even look close enough to pick out everything. This is clearly not a 65cm bike even if the owner told him it was a 26". And when did SUPER CONDITION include dirt and rusty pedals? Who appraised it at $4000?

haha one of those sold around here for around 800 with matching deeps converted to a fixed gear. but what isn't converted to a fixed gear around here? it's a new thing to nova scotia, i guess. it was also listed as a track bike.

The saddle that's on that bike is probably my favorite I've ever ridden, albeit for like 20 minutes.
