Finally got a digital camera!
 

And had to try it out. COuldn't figure out the flash (well, this morning), and so the photos are a bit dark...Perdon the quality. I'll make sure to get more photos of the stable, as it were once I get everything figured out and get a free moment. Oh yeah, also, I know the photos is dark, but is this AVA stem the death stem? I haven't pulled it out to see if it's got a double cut in the stem, but the back is closed off (unlike the one on Sheldon's website) And does anyone know where to get new chevron reflectors, like on the WF? Anyway, I mentioned something about my ghetto Western Flyer coaster bike, and my new UO-8...without further a-doo doo...

Part of the problem with the darkness is the ubiquitous white garage door. The camera is going to read the exposure as being bright due to the door taking up so much of the frame. So anything else in the frame si going to be underexposed. Try a different background or if your camera can do it, set it to "overexpose". That's the great thing about digital photography. You don't waste film and paper getting a good exposure.

Well, the biggest problem was that it was 7:00 AM, and the sun wasn't over the trees yet. I originally stuck it against another side of the garage, but it was way too dark and blurry there, so I went with the door, since it was in the sun, at least as much as possible.

yeah I did the same thing, except in Mac iLife 09 and played around with some of the settings.

I guess the point is to show the OP the large advantage of digital cameras----crap shots can be made pretty good.

Yes - For subject against a white background, set 'exposure compensation' to '+1' or even '+2'.

Mikey my memory fails me but did you post pics of that last bike resently. If so someone ask if you ever found another set of fork reflectors to let him know if so Ive found a set that he can have. Just cant remember who it was.

And currently, the Raleigh is blown apart with Bar Keeper's Friend paste in a couple places, waiting for paint money.

Yeah. Mine didn't come with clips though - aside from the saddle, bar tape, tires and RD, everything appears to be stock. It did originally have the rear Simplex, but a couple teeth were broken, and the spindles were odd sized, so I just tossed on this Suntour RD.

I'd kill for your Ideale saddle, and would love to find a frame pump for these pegs as well...
