Sondec Cycles

Hey all,

A couple of years ago while I was stationed in England a friend left me his old frame where he said he had picked up at a car boot sale. I never actually paid attention to the frame when he gave it to me and it sat in my garage for a couple of years. I finally pulled it out since i'm moving to take a look sat it and I was quite surprised to find some interesting things on it. He used an old tube to wrap the top tube because it was used as a fixed gear bicycle at one point. Upon removal of the tube, I was quite surprised to see an internal cable route. I've also noticed some nice shiny Campagnolo drops and BB. What I like the most from this bike is the brake bridge.

Now, I'm not sure who Sondec is since the only thing i can find out about them is an address in the UK. There was a listing for custom frame builders in that search, but I doubt they were a custom shop. Does anyone know of this company or its history?

I was thinking of restoring it because it has such a lovely paint job. Green with an orange fade. I also like looking at the single chrome chainstay.
Would it be worth restoring? This frame is entirely too small for me so I won't be riding it, but just want to bring it back to what it might be.

Any help on history or components would be appreciated. Thanks!

The bike measures to be about a 54 - 55. A bit small for me.

Based on the features that the bike has, I think it deserves to be restored. I'll crack open the BB and the headset and see if it just needs a repack and see if there's any classic tech heads over at yellowjersey.org
