Romet bicycles, anyone have info on these?

From info I gathered in another thread as well as some research I did on my own, I have come to the conclusion that the bike I have been trying to identify is a Romet. Although I have misplaced the original badge, when I saw pictures of Romet badges online I immediately recognized them as similar to mine. Also, the cranks, breaks and some other parts are labeled "ZZR" and some even say Made in Poland.

Although I am 90% sure it is a Romet, I am having a hard time finding information on Romet, different models of Romets, dates, quality, etc. If anyone knows anything about these bikes, information would be greatly appreciated. Also, If anyone has any additional information on my bicycle, that would be helpful too.

The serial number i found, located on one of the rear dropouts reads: 680C6

Here are some pictures of my bike (I have modernized most of the bike except of the cranks, pedals, bb and breaks and it also has been painted over):

I found this picture through Google...https://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5d/Romet_sport.jpg&imgrefurl=https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Romet_sport.jpg&usg=__Yw9cYg6CG-wS7j5qQIlVCxJpY-Q=&h=1024&w=1280&sz=1288&hl=en&start=109&sig2=f69CrHpu2EEBTCbMEfhCRg&um=1&tbnid=sew3OjtkMuCOQM:&tbnh =120&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dromet%26ndsp%3D20%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-USfficial%26sa%3DN%26start%3D100%26um%3D1&ei=fa8BSoKtFJSdlQeh7enmCg
and the crank looks familiar.

Romet appears to be a major Polish brand of bicycles and motorcycles; and yours is an old one, and judging by the workmanship, a good one.

You can probably learn more about your frame from looking at it. What is the seat post size, for example? This will tell us something about the material. Also, take the fork out, and look at the steerer tube; any markings? Reynolds tubing is often stamped there "Reynolds 531 DB" for example.

Oh, and... not to point out the obvious, but: find the head badge!
