New build for my 1991 Masi Team 3V
A few months ago I was hit by a car and my Colnago was destroyed, so I started the search for a new bike. I started a new thread here looking for input on a nice new steel frame. I also bought a 2009 Campagnolo Centaur group and a nice Record/Open Pro wheelset, to put on whatever frame I ended up buying. Just last Thursday I had a revelation - why not put all my nice new components on my 1991 Masi? That very night I stripped it off its 8-speed components (although they are very nice) and rebuilt it with the new parts. Here are the results. Click the pictures to see more photos.
I will still be purchasing a new frame (the 55cm red Cinelli Supercorsa is no longer listed on GVH Bikes' stock page for a reason) but I will probably have to buy another groupset to put on it... this Masi is such a nice ride, I can't imagine removing these parts anytime soon.

A beauty!
Just out of curiosity, what size post does your Team 3v take?

Thanks!
The bars are Cinelli 66, they are a pretty deep drop but it still feels great.
It takes a 27.2 seatpost.

Very nice. The 3V is a super bike and YES the Cinelli is going to need new components. I don't know if you worked with Tom at GVH but he is the best.
