Can anyone identify my peugeot
I think that I have narrowed my Peugeot down to a 77 or 78 (decals) I am unsure of the model. It has a chromed fork, so I hope it is a PX-10, but I want to make sure.

I had a very similar one as my first road bike when i was around 15 or so. I stopped riding it after the stem cracked in half when I was sprinting up a hill!

Not a PX10... that would have a better parts spec, a Reynolds frame, and Nervex lugs.

+1 U08. I had a 1975 that was very similar. Its your basic entry level bike, much lighter than the US entry level bikes of that era (I moved "up" from a Schwinn Continental when it was stolen week one in college)...

That bike reminds me of one I regret selling before riding - a '78 PRN10LE (at least I think that's what it was. Super clean. I think I got my money out of it, but still sold it for a song.

Believe it or not, the ole "UO8" is becoming a cult bike in this forum,so hang on to it, (If you dont have one,try and get one and see how far you get )they,re not a dime a dozen anymore !
