Centurion
Guy has this advertised, but the descrip leaves much to be desired. Anyone have any thoughts on this rig?

When a bike is a smokin deal, you need to just grab it. At $50, I would do my research later.
|
Go look at it and let your brain answer the question. $50 is peanuts. You hesitated so it's probably gone.
Looks to be a 56 or 58cm frame with 32" standover |
I had a Le Mans that looked like that last year. My guess is Tange 2 butted frame, Shimano Light Action RD and maybe biopace front rings. If that were in the Cleveland area I would have snapped it up for that price in a hot second.

I may be a former owner of that bike. I had a Centurion Le Mans that I sold about 4-5 months back to a guy who lived in Bloomfield that looked exactly like that. If it is, it has an upgraded wheelset and a 600 tricolor RD and is a steal.
If not, it's still a nice bike for the price. |
Dude, go now and get it.
I heard somewhere Centurions made some decent bikes. It's worth a gamble. Heck, I'd have PayPal'd the $50 and paid him $65 to ship it. At $115 disassembled, worth the price and less labor involved to clean and reassemble. Think outside the bike box. |
Just what I have been looking for and appears to be the right size too. You did buy it, right?
|
Buy it, that's only a few bucks more that I paid for a Centurion Cervallo, which appears to be several steps down the ladder from that one.
