Bianchi Proto new stem

Hello I just wanted to make a quick post for all of you who maligned the stem on my other georgeous and spectacular '90 Bianchi Proto. I finally found something that I not only like but fits my sizing criteria and to top it off it is a good match for one on my 2000 Mega Ti Pro.

looking good! I happen to think the Salsa quill stem is one of the perfect tools for the job, when you need some "up angle" but still to maintain a somewhat C&V look...perfectly fine on a '90s machine.

The stem colour usually rubs off easy if you want a more "classic look". Work it gentle with a fine-made sandpaper (and rinse!). But black looks cool.

actually I like the black but I would like a more colorful Salsa sticker and as I said now my two celeste bikes match

Hello Bianchigirl! Right, now the Proto looks much better, the sleeker Salsa stem melts in better with the other componentry as far as I am concerned.
I must say that you have a good-looking MegaTi frame there too, very similar actually to my own Mega Pro Lite in Dedacciai Zero Uno custom tubing. Here´s a pic from when I was building it up, does´nt look precisely like that today.

The Ergo cable routing and the cross section of the stem compliment each other quite well.
