Does anyone know what it is, or what it's ripping off? I usually see it on low end old 10 speed platform pedals, and recently I saw it on the clip on a Forte' toe clip strap.

I'm currently holding a set of "Victor" brand pedals with this same logo on the pedal and dust-cover, from an early 80's Peugeot CPX model BMX bike. Says Victor on the pedal body.

I have a kick scooter presumably from the 1950's with a four-leaf clover logo on the tire brake pedal. Not sure if it's related. I've been trying to identify this scooter for two years with no luck.
EDIT 18SEP2014: This logo on my scooter has been identified as Büchel of Fulda, Germany. This is a different logo from the Victor one.

I have some circa 1985 Victor brand pedals with the four leaf clover design. Research seems to indicate that Victor is now VP (as in pedals). You have a photo?
Here's a photo of my petal on my 1985 Sekai Big Foot. On the end of the pedal it says "VP-747". Is this what your clover looks like?

I thought it was Union, but Victor seems to make more sense.

@Velocivixen - Thanks. It gets a little obtuse at times. I appreciate your seeing it!
