Can anyone ID this Schwinn World Sport time frame
Considering this bike for a spare/conversion, can anyone give me an approximate year of this bike so I can do some more research. Trying to get it for $30-$40

Tough from that crappy picture
I would guess late 80's from the logo placement. My 88 is 27 inch Araya wheels, Shimano SIS Derailleur and Prostar brakes. Black with teal schwinn logo. I'm told Giant built the 4130 cro mo frame. I think 89 got Suntour Accushift and white logo's.
I'm guessing that is a 89. Looks like the Logo on the forks went away in 90 on the WS so it is 88-89.
Catalogs from the 80's and 90's can bee seen here. https://www.trfindley.com/pg_schwinn_cats.htm
Ok 4130 frame. Parts are on the cheap end but usable. My wifes 87 Terry has much nicer light actions SIS. I'm going to single speed mine for a while with a skinny set of 700 Araya wheels I have and see how I like that and see if I want to try fixed gear out. Mine was a $10 thriftstore bike. It is complete but very neglected.
