I swear there is a squad of psychopaths that roam the country with white garage-doors - stopping town-to-town to advertise "Professional Bicycle Photos." After they take the photo and it's posted, they kill the bike owner and take off with their bicycle.

It's good stuff; I like Rick's drawing style and usually the humour is pretty good.
I don't doubt he decided to take a little vacation break, doing a daily is hard toil, much more than people realize.

I too have taken bike pictures in front of the dirty white garage door. I've been getting better C'list results by taking pictures of the bikes in their natural habitat.
