BTW, the least expensive lugged steel bicycle currently produced (and available in the US) that I know of, is the Biria Classic Dutch. $450 retail. No idea about the quality of the construction, but these are getting pretty popular around Boston, especially the ladies frames.

Yes, only they no longer manufacture their mixte with twin lateral stays. Grrrr!
