Yes, the other bikes he was selling didn't turn me on like masi gc and merckx telecom, but they were all interesting. Peter had his pistachio green paramount stolen a year ago give or take and was desperate to get another and after we made the trade he was so happy that he said he wanted to polish my shoes!!! He got a really great bike, and I got 3 that with a little elbow grease and some quid will be right up there with my other paramount .

Sorry all the pics are upside down!!! Don't know why they loaded that way, also I apologize for the bad indoor pics as it is the middle of winter! anyways the 72 paramount is the one I kept(red grips) and the blue gripped 71 is the one I traded. I also put a couple hundred dollar bills on top to even things up. Should be fun getting things right on my new finds here in the weeks to come.

Heads up for smaller wearers of old-school wool jerseys. Boulder Bikes is blowing these out for $9:
Mondia cool display jersey (or for small rider) - sz 1 wool blend
I just grabbed one for my wife, and they are very nice. About 16.5" from pit to pit, and nice and long at 28" collar to hem. Would be fine for skinnier hill-climber types.
More stuff here: Vintage Clothing Amazing Liquidation!

Here's a decent Pook for a decent price, $125. Doubt it is a 23 1/2" frame, tho.
It's got the Mafac center-pull racer brakes, too.

Raleigh Super Course for $299. SunTour Cyclone and bar-end shifters. Cool ad page from whenever.
Says it's a 1978. Did they market the Super Course and the Super Course Mk II at the same time, does anyone know?

I ink this is a little spendy, maybe closer to $250-300 would be better for an Infinity w/ RX100 triple 20 years old. I do know a few here are sort of looking for this color though.

58cm Bianchi Eros road bike excellent condition

Not sure. May have heard it in the 1970s when I worked in an auto body-repair shop and we did some work for a Peugeot car dealer. (I definitely remember one dealership mechanic calling them 'Pukes.')
Or I could have heard it elsewhere.
Or I could have made it up.
Dunno.

EDIT: After further review, I think I shouldn't have used Pook, because I think that is the proper pronunciation for Puch brand bikes.

Yep, that's it. Puch also made mopeds, cars, and military vehicles:
