T.I. Raleigh Team Professional Competition

[h=2]T.I. Raleigh Team Professional Competition - $650 (Sudbury, MA)[/h]

Bought this bike in 1980's but only road it for few months, then was stored on bike hanger for many years until I stored it in a shipping box (aircaddy.com) for the last 15 years. Had local bike shop to do a full bike tune, grease all parts, new cables, new rims and tires in summer. Some of the parts were replaced, so the bike does not have all the original parts. Based on the serial number, the bike was manufactured in Worksop (Carlton) in Auguest 1982, this bike was numbered 469. The bike do have some rust on head sets, chain and some scratches on the frame (see pictures).

Shame that bike isn't more original- otherwise it'd command way more money, yes?

This needs some truth in advertising. It is NOT a Raleigh Team Professional. Adding Competition to the end makes no difference. RTP serial numbers start with SB. It is a Competition painted in Team colors.

A nice bike, but not an Ilkeson SBDU Team Pro. If it were, that would be a steal.

This seems very optimistic, especially for craigslist, but in case someone likes it:

No photos for a 1200 asking price

Vintage Exxon Graftek 50 cm FIRST CARBON BIKE

I am the original owner of a museum-worthy Exxon Graftek carbon bike with original carbon-wrappped fork. Considered to be historic, first production carbon frame. I have the original owner's card which is included in sale.
Campagnolo Nuovo Record equipped.
The frame is outfitted with:
Saddle: Vintage Cinelli Unicanitor No. 1 Buffalo
Campagnolo: crankset, bottom bracket, chain rings, pedals, high-flange front hub, downtube shifters, F&R brakes with pads, F&R brake levers, tapered seatpost, Front derailleur, rear derailleur, cable brackets.
Tubular tires.
Stem: 3TTT, Bars: Cinelli
Rear hub: Normandy? Don't know what happened to the match to the front.
The frame is perfect..There is some slight damage to the down-tube decal.
For serious collectors... this bicycle is considered to be the first ever carbon frame. Produced in the late 70s.
asking $1200 for this rare collector's item.
Will ship to continental USA for $140 extra (Paypal Payment only).

If you are interested in this item, please email with full sentences that make sense. I have been swamped with fake phishing requests and I will not reply if the email doesn't sound like it is from a real person. This item is STILL AVAILABLE. I will delete the posting when sold. No inquiries asking if "item is still available" will be answered due to phishing problems.

This bike was also being offered in Brooklyn, NY for $485 a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful bike - it looks killer - but the snob in me is a little dismissive of the Reynolds 501 tubing..

There's a Raleigh Corsa offered on South Jersey Craigslist for $100 for some time now. Lousy pic, but looks mid-sized and complete.

There's been a nice Exxon graftec on cl San Fran for 750 for over 6 months. While they were revolutionary and seem like they should have a cult following, it seems as though not many C&V types want one. Any thoughts?

I would love one. I stared at the rear triangle of quite a few Grafteks back in my racing days. I thought they were magic bikes. Always on the top step of the podium at the end of the day. All the best riders were sponsered by Cool Gear/Exxon/Graftek. The Graftek was something special.

Happens every now and then. I've seen a pair of boxed bikes from the seventies show up within the last decade.

Bunch of boxed mid 90s Barracuda MTBs showed up last year...

Panasonic DX-3000. Some light research says this is the more desirable year in the DX's line, so thought I'd post it. Price is nice and condition isn't bad either on first glance.
Are you really tall?

Panasonic 24" frame road bike, good size for 5'9" to 6'1" rider, ready to ride , fast and lightweight, please state which bike
