I'd be curious to know if @ftwelder could fix that. Who knows? He worked for Yeti in the early years.

No price listed, but this Trek 560 posted to The Chainlink here in Chicago looks pretty clean:
For sale: 1987 Trek 560 - The Chainlink

Edit: Dang... Let me know if you can't see the image. I'll shoot you a copy.

^ Nice bike, but I don't like the way he's got the RD jammed up against the bike stand like that. When you're asking full price, you've got to let the potential buyer believe the bike has been 'babied.'

Puch Mistral Competition- $729 (Minneapolis, MN)
Italian Vintage Road Bike Full Campy Bling
Tons of pics, I'll only include a few.

Puch Mistral Competition 1987-88 made in Italy by Bianchi. Size is medium 55-56 cm and about 32 stand-over.
I can't imagine someone running into another one built up the way this bike is. It is one lively and blingy road bike. All components are in exceptional condition and the frame has only minor/typical small abrasions - but no dents or dings. Since the frame is completely chrome plated there has never been corrosion. Along with proper servicing, it has received a new saddle, bar tape, and tires. Shimano clipless pedals included.
Mistral Competition's frame and fork blades are Columbus Cromor - highly regarded combination of strength, weight, liveliness.
Components are era correct and original to the bike - Campagnolo brake calipers, levers, hoods, shift levers, headset, derailleurs, hubs, crank and chain rings, quick release levers, and possibly cassette and bottom bracket. Stem and bars are Cellini.
The brake calipers are one of the nicest design ever from Campagnolo, together with the Delta, but with better braking power. I think they are about the most beautiful calipers ever made, IMO even better looking than Delta's.

I got lured onto Sacramento Craigslist from the Appraisals and Inquiries forum, so it's time to post a bunch of reasonably priced late 80's mtbs. The last one is the weakest deal- I just wanted to link it because of the crazy color and decals.
[h=2]Vintage Bike, Mens Specialized Hard Rock Comp* 20" Frame, NICE! - $125 (benicia, CA) *1989[/h]Vintage Bike, Mens Specialized Hard Rock Comp 20" Frame, NICE!

This is a vintage men's Specialized Hard Rock Comp. bike with a 20" Frame in very nice condition. Newer rubber as well.
[h=2]Schwinn High Sierra* - $100 (midtown Sacramento, CA) *1988[/h]schwinn

Vintage Schwinn High Sierra bicycle. 20" Shimano Deore SIS.
[h=2]Small '80's Schwinn Essence MTB/Utility Bike - $150 (Auburn, CA)[/h]Small '80's Schwinn MTB/Utility Bike

Here is a lightly used and shockingly Barbie-pink Schwinn mountain bike from the late 1980's, rebuilt as a shopping or utility ride. Small frame with low 27" standover, best for a rider under 5'4". Nice Shimano parts throughout, with Weinmann rims and fast rolling Continental Sport contact tires. New folding cargo baskets with integral rear rack. This cheery bike is ready for midtown, the farmers market or campus hauling.
I can deliver to Sacramento or Davis if Auburn is too far out of your way.
Cheers, and thanks for looking!

Yes I agree, 900 for TreTubi Columbus w/ falck stays and a nice mix of Ofmega, Universal and Campagnolo derailleurs. It looks nice though.
PS; MSRP on this was around $550

The Specialized and High Sierra are both good deals. I recently completed a similar black chrome Sierra.
