Ivandarken, Nice score! Perseverance furthers! What are they, 55 and 57cm? I'm sure they're great riders.

Not only this is in great condition (if Aluminum is your thing) but the going/asking price is less that what one could get just for the component group alone:

That would be a local pick up for me? Do you really think the Sante group would sell for more than the asking price of the bike?

I don't think so personally. There was a virtually NOS group go for $500 recently, but that is not typical even for an excellent condition group. I have followed Sante prices for awhile on ebay and that was the most expensive I have ever seen it sell for. I think it would more likely go for around $300-$350 for a complete good condition group. You might make money, you might break even, it is a toss up in my opinion.

Mid-80's Era 56cm Marinoni - $375 (sunset / parkside)

Date: 2010-01-21, 8:25AM PST
Reply to: sale-zv22x-1563392582@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Assembly definitely required. Selling frame and a selection of associated parts listed below.

Frame:
Handbuilt Marinoni frame from mid-80s, back when the company was still pretty much a one man show in Montreal. 56cm, Columbus tubing, Campagnolo dropouts, Cinelli bottom bracket shell and some lovely Maple Leaf lugs. Frame would benefit from a repaint but is good and straight.

Components:
Mavic rear derailleur (okay condition), Mavic front derailleur (perfect, never used), Campagnolo Record headset and bottom bracket (good condition), Campagnolo long-reach rear brakes (okay condition), Mavic Look compatible pedals (okay condition), American Classic seat post (good condition), Campagnolo Record cranks/172.5mm/53/42 (good condition)

Wheels:
Front wheel is a Shimano 600 hub with Mavic GP4 tubular rim. Rear wheel is a Campy hub and Campy tubular rim with a Regina 6sp straightblock (13 tooth high). Both are three cross, 32 spoke. Almost new Vittoria tires.

Up for sale is a very nice Tommasini Super Prestige frame and fork. This is an early 90's frame made with Columbus SLX tubing and fully chromed underneath the paint. Chrome fork and rear triangle is in excellent condition. Brake cable runs through top tube. No dents, no dings, and definitely no rust. The size is 54 seat tube c-c and 55 top tube c-c.

Send a photo. The frames are really nice for what they are. The original components are fair... and the Simplex front derailleur was problematic (it broke), but it is sturdy and certainly worth putting some of your own time into. Any period rear derailleur should work, with a hanger... swing by an LBS where the staff is over 30 and I'm sure they have something in the back for you fairly cheap. They can be quite charming if the paint and decals are in good condition. Years ago, savvy cyclists would buy the bike for the frame and swap components out for better ones, creating a nice bike comparable to more expensive offerings of the day. I now have 3 Galaxy's and 1 Realmrider. With new wheels, the realmrider handles like a champ. I have too many though... I see a bit of ebaying in my future.

80's Specialized Sequoia, regarded by some as one of the finest production sport touring bikes manufactured during the era. I called this evening, and the 60cm is still available (I think it's 59cm c-c). Seller may accept $250 in person (got her down to $275 on the phone). I want it, but I simply can't justify it.

Anyone looking for a Ross 292s? I am not selling this bike (this time). I flipped this bike 1 year ago and it has been put back up on CL. When I flipped it I went over, greased and scrubbed everything. I also replaced the chain, bar tape, cables and brake hoods. I don't think it has been ridden much or at all since the guy bought it, I can see much the bar tape shows no real wear and the crank still looks super clean.

Anyway, he is selling it for less than he paid me for it, plus he bought new tires. I would buy this back for myself if it was my size... which is why I sold it in the first place. The shimano golden arrow components were in very nice shape when I sold it.

Mid 70s steel frame lugged Masi bicycle. Serial #0334. Equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Record headset, bottom bracket, crank, chain rings and brake set. Also has Super Nuovo Record flutted seat post. Bar and saddle are Cinelli. Wheels are Mavic CXP30 laced to black Dur Ace hubs. Derailuers are Shimano Crane downtube. Frame size is 58.4cm, standing height over bar is 81.9cm. Bike has never been wrecked or bent, wheels run-out extremely true. Finish on the bike is excellent with the exception of several small chips. Tires need to be replaced, 2 new
Continental Giros will be included. My riding days have long past along with assembling this bike. I can't remember all the particular angles, tube lengths etc., any interest of that type, let me know and I'll try and figure them out.

978 Ciclo Piave mod. Super Ciclo Piave continues to build bikes in the
21st century. They are located in Santa Lucia di Piave in the province of
Treviso
Exceptional original condition
57 cm c-c st/tt

Azurra matallic blue with chromed headlugs, fork/crown and right
chainstay, rear dropout faces. Wonderful pantographing.

Ciclo Piave was a small shop founded around the pre WW2 era located in
Santa Lucia in the province of Treviso. They continue to build bikes
today, although, I believe, they were bought out by a larger industrial
conglomerate.

This cycle is amazingly well preserved, with original paint and decals. ST
decals (W/C stripes) flawed, but can easily be replicated. Metal headbadge
is perfect. Complete Campagnolo Super Record group with pat. 78 rear
derailleur, 4-hole front derailleur, brakes, crankset (53/42, 170), SR
small flange 32/32 laced to Ambrosio Solidal grey anodized rims, Vittoria
Corsa CX Seta Squadre Professional tires (minimal wear), Regina SL chain,
Regina 13/19 6-speed FW, Campagnolo SR/SL seatpost, 3ttt SL bar (40cm
c-c),stem (11cm,pantographed "Piave"), Colnago style fork crown
pantographed "Piave. Cinelli Unicanitor padded saddle (old logo). Columbus SL tubing. No pedals.

This cycle is in exceptional condition, setup correctly and rides
beautifully. A true, professional level stage racing cycle from an
obscure, highly respected builder.

Waterford 60cm RSE-2200 Brevet/Rando Type - $1 (Braintree)

Date: 2010-01-21, 7:24PM EST
Reply to: sale-skq5y-1564260864@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Hi, I am selling a Waterford custom built RSE-22/2200 brevet/light tourer/rando, lugged steel, type road bike. I bought in summer used after selling one bike and getting hit on another(I was fine, bike wasn't), anyway my old bike is fixed so I decided to keep it and sell this. It is a 2006 made with a mix of Reynolds 853 and True Temper. It has a 60 st 57 tt seat angle is 73, head is 73 fork rake is 42, trail is 60 bb drop is 75 and standover is 33in depending on tires.
Pics show a bag/rack/schmidt wheel/light combo that is NOT included although we could negotiate, pedals not inluded either. Overall the shape of bike is great just paint chips/scratches, no rust or dents.
Previous owner was a bike mechanic and says bike had about a three thousand miles on it and I added about 800 or so.
The drivetrain was new when I got it including new Sram pc1030 chain, new Campy chainrings,50/34 and new IRD 11/30 10 spd cassette. The rest of the components are as follows: Campy Centaur crank,Shimano ultegra 10 Spd long cage derailer,IRD compact front derailer, Chris King Headset, Paul Neo retro Cantis,Soma Campy style brake levers, Nitto Noodle bars 46,Campy Chorus BB and aero seatpost, Ultegra hubs 36 laced to Mavic open pros,Conti touring 2000 32mm tires, Selle An-Atomica Clydesdale Watershed saddle, Shimano Dura Ace Bar ends, Yokozuna Cables, sks p-45 fenders, Ciussi Elite bottle cages also a black Zefal pump.
The previous owner had a black Salsa Pro Moto 100mm stem w/black spacers. I put a Velo orange silver 80mm stem w/silver spacers, Take your pick.
The frame has a pump peg, rack and fender braze-ons.
Ride Characteristis:Enhanced Stability, combines comfort and predictable road handling
If I left any thing out please contact.
I am asking $1540 firm, this is what I paid and the frame alone is worth much more than that new.
