Probably a Sports. The Superbe was more deluxe, having a color-matched rear rack and a front Dynohub with lights, I believe. This one looks like my Sports. Price is a little steep unless it's in really nice condition.

I'm pretty sure the frame isn't a Rossin, but the fork is and frame has Campy dropouts.

This is a near perfect Vitus Carbone Kevlar frame. The carbon section and decals are in amazing shape. The aluminum sections show age but are still in remarkable shape for its age. The frame has been built once. It sat in storage at a bike shop I worked at since new. I bought and never built it. It's been in my personal collection since.

23mm seat post tube.
Aluminum lugs bonded to carbon fiber, Kevlar reinforced tubes.
I believe it is English BB threads.
Actual year of manufacture I'm not sure. I would guess it as late 80's early 90's.
I have kept a top and bottom headset cup in the head tube to prevent damage but just a reminder this is Frame Only.
Trades for high end mountain bike frames or complete bikes.

For anyone on the east side of the Cascades in Oregon (or who just want to make a road trip from the Willamette Valley) this looks like a pretty good deal in Prineville. 2 good condition looking Peugeots, one is typical Carbolite, but the other one (green one, the "Course") looks to have a Vitus tubing sticker on it with some cool parts attached. For $200 for the both of them (buy it now) probably cant go wrong. If my daughter still lived in Bend I would be pushing the buy it now button right now! It is probably flying low under radar because the poster highlights the Carbolite but says nothing about the Vitus!
