Is it the right size? It looks pretty mint. Many people would prefer Italian drive train on a Colnago, but there is nothing wrong with Dura Ace from a riding perspective. Remember the Canadian dollar has sunk, so it is roughly 20% less when buying with US dollars. I like it.

Couple of TdFs. Second one is in better condition and appears to be original.

Mail order nostalgia / (GP special ...... Grand Prix, Gas Pipe..... Gene Portuesi import. Not a top flight machine but think its a deserving piece. The original aspect of it makes for a conversation piece at Eroica type rides.

Yes, I will ship. Here is how it works. I will box the bike and tell you what it weighs and how big it is. You will purchase a label from Bikeflights.com and have it sent to me. That way, you pay exact shipping and no one pays any surcharges or fees. Bikeflights ships a lot of bikes through FedEx and gets a substantial discount, and passes some of it on to you. I'm sure you can't find a better or faster or cheaper way to ship. Typical bike shipping charges are $45 to $75, plus insurance. Add $25 for packing materials and time.

Big boy Raleigh Pro
Raleigh Professional
[h=2]Raleigh Professional - $1250 (Duxbury)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map) (yahoo map)
condition: like new
make / manufacturer: Raleigh
model name / number: Professional
size / dimensions: 25-1/2
This is a mid-1970s vintage Raleigh Professional in near new condition. It was ridden less than 100 miles way back when and has been hanging in the shop since.
This is a BIG bike with a 25-1/2" (65 cm) frame for a TALL rider.
The bike is in 100% original condition needing only a fresh set of sewup tires, fresh grease, and perhaps a new set of rubber hoods for the brake levers.
The frame is Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing wth Cinelli-style sloping fork crown and "fastback" seat cluster. It is fully Campy equipped, and has a Brooks Professional saddle.
You can read Sheldon Brown's write-up on the Raleigh Pro here: Retro Raleighs: Professionals
Asking $1250 cash and carry. Leave your name and phone number for a quick response.

Univega rigid MTB not in my size:
Univega Alpina 500
Univega Alpina 500 - $125 (Farmville) < >

Univega Alpina 500
16.5" Chrome-Moly Bi_Oval Double Butted Frame
It measures17.5" BB to top of Seat tube and has a 23" top tube
That and the 120mm stem makes it more of a racing geometry for speed
I'm 5' 9" and the bike fits well
I've got the Conti Town and Country 2.1" tires on it for a smooth comfy feel
Bike is light weight and agile
Fully serviced, new cables and grips, Wheels repacked and trued, headset repacked

Original looking Iverson 3-speed, made in Japan, seen at a yard sale this morning for $10. If it had had the SA hub I would have bought it.

1973 Schwinn World Voyageur: Vintage 1973 Schwinn World Voyageur Blue Amazing Condition Very RARE | eBay

It has a 21" frame and is in a fairly rare Opaque Blue color, however it is missing many original parts including the wheels (hubs/rims/skewers), brake levers, calipers, saddle, freewheel, spoke protector, etc. If more of the original parts were present it would be worth a whole lot more...

[h=2]Shogun NINJA Tange 2 frame many NEW parts! - $250 (Lakeville, MN)[/h]Shogun NINJA Tange 2 frame many NEW parts!

1987 Shogun NINJA Tange 2 double butted. Triple triangle GT style frame. Its 22.5" from the center of bottom bracket to the top of the seat post. Its been completely overhauled. The wheels are straight. There is no damage to the frame at all, but expect a few blemishes and scratches here and there. There is a small amount of surface rust under the cable guides on the top tube. I cleaned most of it off when I had it apart and before I waxed it. Here is a parts breakdown:
Shimano 600 brakes, 600 SIS derailers, 600 crankset, and 600 sealed mechanism headset.
Gold, almost anodized, Araya 700 wheels with Shimano sealed mechanism hubs.
Nitto bars and stem
"Strong" Japan seat post
Dura Ace downtube shifters. Set up for indexed shifting or you can switch them to friction shifting
The parts listed below were all bought brand new and have less than 10 miles on them
700x25c Continental GatorSkin tires, tubes, and rim strips
Brake pads
Jagwire white brake cables and shift cables (shifting will need to be adjusted)
Cinelli cork bar tape and chrome bar ends
Velo plush Saddle
MKS Sylvan pedals
Bike rides nice and smooth. It is as clean as it could be as I have a bit of OCD with cleanliness with bikes.
Asking just a smidge over of what I have paid for the new parts.
$250 FIRM and picked up in Lakeville. Possible trade for an older Raleigh Sports or Superbe in 23" frame

This Jubilee Sport in SW VA looks a bit dirty, and has a mix of components (though decent ones), I'd say it's probably worth the asking price. Motobecane French Road Bike Shimano Gears Made in Fracne

Up for sale is a Motobecane French Road Bike. The bike is made in France and is very light weight. It has Shimano Gears and crank. The bike is in very good shape for age, tires are deflated from sitting and it has the small input for the tires so I am not sure how to pump up. Asking $125 if interested call or text me at
