I keep running into these Raleigh Elkhorns (at least that's what I think it is). The price is right. Nice components. If this were smaller than absolutely gigantic I'd be on my way now.
[h=2]Vintage Mountain Bike by Raleigh - $45 (Roseville, MN)[/h]Vintage Mountain Bike by Raleigh
This early edition mountain bike has only been ridden 2x and is for taller people. Standover height is 34" with a frame size of 22-23". The bike is in impeccable condition as it has only been ridden 2x in the 20+ years age of the bike. It is ready to ride (and still had some air in the tires after 20 years although I have topped them off and lubed the chain).

Seems on the high side to me, but I've seen people who think these are priceless on here. I'd help fascinate if you're one of them.

IMO his asking price is spot on. Fully serviced, new tires is worth something. Granted, Raleigh Competitions don't excite me like an International or Professional but I put a few miles on my Competition and enjoyed the ride.

Vintage Bianchi Road Bike w/ Columbus SLX Steel Tubing (51 mm)
[h=2]Vintage Bianchi Road Bike w/ Columbus SLX Steel Tubing (51 mm) - $450 (Belmont, MA)[/h]
condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Bianchi
size / dimensions: 51 mm
Beautiful bike with a smooth ride to take you around town or on long training rides. Classic 1980s vintage Bianchi road bike with Columbus SLX tubing, in excellent condition. 51mm (20 inch) frame. Original Celeste green paint.
Recently tuned up. Many new parts including: 8 speed cassette, 700c wheels (tires, tubes rims), 9 speed chain, brake and gear cables and housing, Bontrager grip tape. Comes with Look peddles. Original Campangnolo groupset (except for a new Shimano Sora Rear Derailleur).
I will also include bonus items: 2 Celeste green Bianchi bottle cages, new Looks cleats, and extra Campangnolo Rear Derailleur. There are a couple of minor scuffs but the paint is in near perfect condition. Great bike for someone probably 5'5 or taller. 30-inch standover height.

I rode a CSI a week ago and it gave me second thoughts about selling my frameset.
They are truly exceptional road bikes.

Vintage Nishiki Touring Bike! - $190
This is a 1986 Nishiki Cresta GT Touring Bike. Its a 21" frame and is made of Tange lugged cromoly. This bike rides amazing...it feels so smooth. It unfortunately is a tad too small for me or else I would never get rid of it. The wheels are 27" bronze anodized Araya's and spin smooth and true. It also has a rear rack installed as well as three braze ons for water bottle cages. This would make someone a fantastic commuter or all day tourer. I have changed out the handle bars but I have the originals as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

Vintage fixed gear bike - small - $450 (western suburbs, MN)
Vintage fixed gear bike - small
Fixed gear only and is not set up with brakes. It measures about 19 1/2 inch from center of crank to top of tube. I cant offer much info on the bike so hopefully the pics will help.

In all seriousness french bikes usually are substantially less desireable, the bike is huge, it's a franken bike, it's dirty, the stem, tape and saddle look hideous in this combination and he's far from the city. I'm not surprised it's been stagnant. Personally I don't like the "attention collectors" thing...collectors know what they're looking at without his help. It comes across pompous and the bike isn't worth the tag line.
