Supposed Waterford Paramount on Chicago CL for $500. I know little about Paramounts but wonder if in fact this isn't an Asian-made Series bike, like the Series 7, which came in purple.

They look nicer than the ladies style with the two top tubes. They are said to ride better, too. They have been marketed as unisex, though that succeeded outside the US but not in the US.

They are still made but not sold new in the US market.

I stand corrected. Almost. I mean, yes, you can buy a new one here, but that's a pretty unusually high price.

But I love the web page, because clearly, the author has a sense of humor and loves The Simpsons: it says "Click to embiggen."

Classic Vintage Fuji America - $225 (Reno)

Reply to: sale-fpkvs-1569685527@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Approx 1985 Fuji America. This is a classic Fuji Road Bike.
Double Butted Chrome Moly Steel Tubing. Leather Seat & Suntour Derailers. (18 speed)

Bike measures 61cm from mid crank to top bar and 64cm from mid crank to seat post.

This bike was purchased in the mid 80's and only used for about 5 years then stored. I put new tires on a few months ago because the original tires had rotted (duh).
This bike is in awesome condition and still a blast to ride.

If someone here gets picks this up, I would love to have that Fujita Pro saddle that I assume is on there.

Road Wheels - $25 (Sunset Beach, NC)

Date: 2010-01-19, 6:07PM EST
Reply to: sale-dmesn-1560499608@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I have two sets of road wheels for sale.

First Set; Older Campy Super Record Hubs, DT Spokes, Matrix Areo tublar rims.
Second set; Suntour Superbe Pro Sealed Hubs, DT Spokes, Matrix Areo tublar rims.

All are in very good condition and have old tires which i'm not sure still hold air.

Buy them all for $100.

If this is real and I was close enough that I could take a look, I would be all over these. Anybody willing to help a guy out?

Don't know what the price will escalate to in the final minutes of bidding, but looks like a pretty good deal at the moment for an only slightly abused Pug. https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

This was also posted on the CR list. Apparently, the seller received the bike as a reverse-Drewed frame. Someone had converted it to a road bike! So, he had the track dropouts brazed and various braze-ons removed, but no paint or chrome has been applied. That may be what looks fishy.

What is this? Good or not so good Raliegh?
The latter. Looks like an early to mid 70's Grand Prix. Originally a not-so-good ten speed with cottered crank and Huret gears, Weinmann brakes, Normandy hubs; evidently some component on it has been changed to Campagnolo. What, when, and why? I'm thinking the leather saddle and the promise of some Campy component don't justify the price.

I guess 62" means 62 cm; there was a 25 1/2" frame size.

My first thought was Holy Jamoly:

I'll have to let someone else capture pics and text. Lake Elsinore in So.Cal., 300+ bikes stacked and racked. I wonder what the background story is on these? N+1 cubed?

that's funny, I one for my daughter last spring and had just received an email today from Trek so far as trying to figure out what year / model it was since it doesn't have any logos on it other than "trek" (it's a 2002 Trek KDR 1000) All Sora components... nice bike though. Not very many around, that's for sure. (I guess the market for $570 kids road bikes is limited, eh?) I paid $150 for ours, and it's nearly new. (slight tear on bar tape and flat spots on rear tire from previous owner locking up brackes to skid out) I'll be in our family for a while.. got 3 more to break in on it.

This is a Raleigh Carlton Pro 531 Steel Road bike frame and fork. It has the 3 original Campagnolo cable housing guides on the top top, front facing horizontal drops with set screws, derailleur mount. Frame does have some surface rust and minor dings. Ask any questions you have.

Price is best offer!
