This is much closer to my size, but is still a bit shy at 60cm ctt. If it was a cm or so larger, I think it would already have taken up residence in my basement lair:

I don't know too much about the brand and 1K seems spendy for a Prestige bike with 600 but I really wish I had the money for it. It is a great looking bike from what I learnt from you guys it should be a fabulous ride.

Its unique and interesting.

Also, for the price of this example, there's so many other super bikes available
I bought mine to ride (It's my first and only Carbon bike), so I was more than happy to get one with cosmetic issues and priced accordingly low as a result. Incidentally, with comparable wheels mounted, I have found my times on the Y-Foil to average ~ 2% faster than on my two best steel bikes (Tommasini and Japanese Paramount) almost all of which I attribute to it's superior climbing and descent abilities - not sure how much of that is the ~3 lb. savings vs my steel bikes, and how much is just better stiffness and aero characteristics.

BTW, the Y-foil that's near me that's configured as a Tri-bike and can be had for $700 is cosmetically pretty nice (it's red, and 54 cm size). If you're interested, PM me and I can put the seller in touch.

I'm biased because I'd like to have one of these...

The ebay bike is a touch high, but it's not crazy either. These are very cool, interesting bikes, and there is a cult following for them. While there are other nice bikes for $1200...they're probably far less unique. I like unique.

That bike's been listed off and on again for the last 18 months, the price is too high but the seller seems to be stuck on a thousand bucks

That's just me being a very unmotivated seller.

@sloar: Actually, and I could be wrong, I think Bianchigirl's complaint is that she doesn't view it as being a "full" campy group. Maybe she was focusing on the brakes--although, as we know, Campagnolo did not offer brakes until '68--and that the bike doesn't include pedals?

I can't stand it when people post a bike stating it is "Full Campagranola" or "All Dura Ace" and it isn't! Another one is "all original" when you can clearly see the wheels don't match.

Great looking Paramount though I hope it goes quick.

Thanks and sorry, brakes aren't campy and I didn't update the pic, the wheels now match. like I said I'm not a real motivated seller, I didn't mean to offend anyone with my ad.

This bike has been available since February (admittedly, not the best time to try to unload a bike), so the bike might be available for less depending on how motivated the seller is to move it.

To the seller's credit, s/he did come down $150 from the original asking price.

In Fort Wayne, 1984 probably 83 Lotus Unique with Suntour Blue Line derailleurs and Dia Comp brakes, chrome is pitted but not horribly, and the bike is very dirty, I went to look at it before they posted pics and found it was way to small for me. Vintage Lotus Racing Bike
