That Nashbar is about x2 too much $$, but it is I believe a Shogun. I had an all Cyclone Nashbar with Suntour Pro dropouts. It was a very nice bike.

I would love this!!! But I agree it is over priced by 200-250. I think these had Suntour Alpha 5000, at least the last one I saw did.

No pictures, but the local auction house has a nice 80's Raleigh mixte, all original with an auction estimate of $25 to $50. It's coming up in a few minutes so I'll give it a shot and report back. I don't think I'd bid more than $75 because it might need some consumables and my aim would be to get it roadworthy and sell it. Mixtes are popular here right now.

^That Trek is painful to look at. That DIY shifter scheme is a new one to me.

I dropped out of the auction bidding for that Raleigh mixte at $55 and it sold for $75.

Serotta Atlanta Bike

Serotta racing bike, like new condition. Original cost $3,000 (I have the invoice). Rarely used. Checked out at Erik's and they said everything was perfect.
Ended up getting this today. It's in about as good of shape as a 15yr old bike can be. Got the Serotta catalog and his invoice as well.

Spendy, but the same thing Gino Bartali used to win the '36 and '37 Giro. That's pretty cool. And it has fenders, except for the front tip.

It has an "Air Rail" carbon fork. Haven't dropped it yet for further inspection. Judging by the catalog, it doesn't appear to be an option. So it must have been what the shop who built it put on. Doubt it's all that special, though.

EDIT: Looks like "Air Rail" is made by Ion and that was indeed an option. Wish it would have the Serotta "S" instead of the large Air Rail decal.

So then you won't be needing that Campy equipped Raleigh anymore right?

As others have said: score.

I was entirely serious when I wrote earlier in this thread that I'd be on the PO's doorstep in a jiffy if that bike were local to me.

[h=2]Trek 900 Bicycle - $150 (South Minneapolis, MN)[/h]Trek 900 Bicycle

In really great shape and a rare find - this classic blue Trek 900 was built in 1988 and uses Sugino gears. The 900 uses 1.25" tires and Accu Shift components, designed as an early city/mountain bike with riser bars and stem - very comfy and well worth the time to come take it for a spin.

Planning on getting the good camera out tomorrow or the day after to take some proper shots of it. Maybe I'll start a thread since it seems to have a little interest. It's a very nice bike but I'm not certain I'll be comfortable on it. It's a lot of bike and I typically size down.
