Sounds good ... 1986 model ... had a 1980 DX 3000 ... looks great for the price. Trying to hold myself back on this one... it ain't easy. 700C rims, 25" frame and a great color scheme. No more room...ouch!!

What is the 'correct' build for this frame, Shimano or Campagnolo? Or is there no such thing?

Not nearly as good as the Panasonic, but supposed to be "as new". It also has a 23" frame. Most likely 27" wheels.
Alloy crank set!

[h=2]Vintage Paris Sport 10 Speed Bicycle - $150 (Cortlandt Manor)[/h]

This bicycle is in new condition as you can see from the enclosed photo.
It was purchased new by me and only used five times.
Extra tires included...
A real beauty, sorry to see it go!

I like the 753 lugged frame though. Anyone know of Reynolds 753/853 lugged touring frames?

Vintage Mixte Peugeot 10 Speed Road Bike - $75 (Fan District) < >

Nice vintage mixte Peugeot needs some cleaning, oiling and adjusting but otherwise pretty nice for a vintage bike. Pretty light weight. I think it is 1970's vintage. Cruise in style!

Most of the ones I've seen were campy. In think 7400 would make sense, but he has some 7700 and Ultegra in theire. It doesn't help value.

I think the real draw here is the frameset, which is pretty rare and desirable. Should be worth it (and then some) to someone, even if it means having to source a couple of 'correct' parts post-acquisition.

I forgot you have one, but remember it being in much better shape. The decals and chrome on this one need some attention.

I think look was just selling frames at the time so I don't think there a 'correct' or stock build for it. If you want a Hinault look alike I think you need Mavic.

Good call! I had forgotten about that 'other' option.

French components would be fitting on a French frame.

Who cares about the dirt.

That's twenty minutes max in a shop wash tank.

I wouldn't call this a huge deal, but it wouldn't take more than an hour to straighten the bike around.

Please notice, it says Ritchey on the frameset.
