Hello, this is a 1972 Holdsworth 53cm road race bicycle equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Record. The bike is in tremendous shape and I would like to see it go to a home where it will get to go outside and be ridden. Also included is a spare set of Phil Wood wheels. Please let me know if you have any questions about the bike or would like to come check it out. Have a good weekend.

Near-Mint Condition 1994 Trek 520 -- Looks Incredible
[h=2]Near-Mint Condition 1994 Trek 520 -- Looks Incredible - $350 (Arlington)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map)

condition: like new
make / manufacturer: Trek
model name / number: 520
size / dimensions: 17"

I have a near-mint condition Trek 520. The original owner bought it ~20 years ago, rode it a few hundred miles, and hung it up in her shed until recently. It's ready to tour across the world, and for a fraction of the price of a new bike with very similar technology.

The Trek 520 is one of the timeless touring bikes. It's got braze-ons galore, wider spacing, very sturdy wheels, double-butted steel True Temper AVR frame, made in the USA like they used to be, and is ready to go wherever you want to take it. It's positively beautiful. You really have to see it to understand the condition it's in.

This bike will fit someone around 5'5" to 5'9". If it were my height then there's no way I'd sell it. It's a beautiful bike. Bottom bracket center to top tube is 17". Top tube length is ~21"

I've cleaned / lubed it up thoroughly, replaced the tubes / tires, and replaced the bar tape.

I'm pretty sure it's this bike, so you can check it for specs: 1994 Trek 520 - BikePedia

Usual rules: $350 OBO, cash only, phone number in your response.

It certainly was crashed. The handlebar tape is ripped right next to the brake lever that was shoved inward. I would buy that bike and get a discount for the damage.

[h=2]Road bike - Tomassini, 63 cm, no pedals - $50 (Eden Prairie, MN)[/h]Road bike - Tomassini, 63 cm, no pedals

I road this bike pretty seriously for many years, and took real good care of it.
Until I got sick and can ride no longer.
Caveats: You have to be between 6' and 6'5" to ride this comfortably;
I removed my clipless pedals, so you'll need your own - or buy mine for $50;
Older set-up with downtube shifters, but the upside is the fun of riding fine Italian steel
over flawless, top-end Shimano groupo;
And, yeah, have your shop clean it up, look it over, and after that you have yourself an outstanding deal. Use it as a second bike, or your starter road bike.

If it fits, it is a good deal...particularly if you can do any of the work to clean it up...

Well organized but doesn't look valuable, and you'd have to put a lot of work into it to build sellable bikes. Or to put it all on ebay.
