Me too! That bike is a relist.... have had it marked Its one of those we don't see in the States.

Similar story with Zeus, though the little bits of them I've had looked fairly poor quality compared to Campagnolo. Casting voids right thru the seat post (two bolt micro - NR copy). Supposedly good enough to pass inspections and ship off...lol. Also, rumors are Campagnolo and Zeus shared some manufacturing. Who knows?!

Not bad. Price might be a little ambitious, even for this market.

[h=2]Trek 460* Road bike - $175 (Hayfield, MN) *1985 in Race Red[/h]Trek 460 Road bike

Mid 1980's Trek 460 road bike. Good condition for its age. Has some scratches and usual wear. Still rides fast and efficient. Tires are older but still hold air and have some life left. Shifters and derailers are suntour. Crank is shimano 600. Has aero bars, and a cushy after market seat. It is all steel and American made. Still a very light bike and is quick and responsive. Stand over height is about 32 inches. Bike is appropriate for someone around 5'9" to 6' or so. Too tall for me and time to get rid of a few bikes. $175.00 or best offer. Please call with any questions. Leave a message and I will return your call ASAP. 507-477-three two 54.

I had one just like that but a bit larger, same year too. Sold it when I moved to CA to start graduate studies. Huge regret.

I would think a $200 tandem that is functional would be an OK deal. If it fits. I have never ridden one. Tires look smaller than 700c.

Tandem bike - $200

Tandem bike

Unless you want the Paramount tandem for $1250. I think it's been on CL for a long time.

Mid '70's Holdsworth Reynolds 531 frame = 57 cm square and in pretty good condition. In the Seattle Craigslist for 80.00. If I was not spending too much already I would have looked into this.

You might want to add this to a similar thread in the Tandem Cycling forum. I began it when I realized there might be the need for a tandem-specific thread for those interested. Not a lot of activity on it but some nice finds.

Congrats! Looks nearly identical to my specialissima, which means you should love it. Super smooth, and just a really nice bike all around.

Mystery photos. Seems like a decent bike in decent condition but missing a lot of bits. The "a" in one photo looks like the one that goes at the end of Miyata.

Road bike $70

I win. Olmo, Campy, everything pantagraphed. The original chrome Olmo fork (usually missing). Looks like the Campy pedals are even still on it. $350. Top that if you can. I dare you.

80s OLMO Competition Bicycle

I freakin' love Olmos. I was talking to this idiot the other day about bikes. All he knew about Olmos were what Sheldon Brown reposted from the price guide ignorantly, that "Schwinn of Italy" crap. This guy remembered a local mail order bike place carrying a low end Olmo. I communicated to him that Colnago and Masi strategically focused their marketing on the US, and Masi actually moved production here. Olmo didn't care about the US market and NEVER has. Olmos weren't imported by Olmo, but in very limited numbers during the bike boom by entrepreneurs.

You look through some of the vintage Olmo catalogs and there are no really low-end stuff. It kind of stops with Campy. Not like all the glutted stuff we saw here in the states with low end Suntour, Shimano, Simplex, etc.

This era of Olmos I always love. The pantagraphed Olmo 3T stems. Some of the Gran Sport Olmos actually had pantagraphed cranks, rings, shifters, seat posts etc.

For $350 you could part it out and sell it on eBay. You'd deserve to be slapped though. If someone decides they need this I'll buy it, box it, ship it for you. You've got to cover the purchase price and shipping & the bubble wrap.

This does NOT apply to all Colorado bicycles, so don't even ask. Just Olmos. Man I love Olmos.

Craft a narrative about the meth head tweaker that took a Campy equipped Olmo to freakin' Fast Cash? I can see it now, this bike is going to end up getting ridding DUI style with upturned bars by some halfway homeless person.

If I could find the 66cm size frame set that theoretically was imported to the states, I'd tear this apart and ride the snot out of it in my hypocritical steel bike hating glory. I love Olmos that much.

Except it doesn't look like any of the Miyata head badges that I have on my Miyatas or the ones I saw on the internet.

I can expedite if anyone wants these weird and wonderful Bickerton folders:

Classic Bickerton Portable Folding bikes

Pair of first year production Bickerton Portable folding bicycles, built in England 1971, 3 speed Sturmey Archer hubs, excellent original condition and come with canvas travel bags, all aluminum construction weighting only 18 lbs. each, both bikes have been serviced and bearings lubed and are ready to ride as they sit. Great for taking on trips where you need some wheels when you get there. Offering these classic iconic folding bicycles for $250.00 each or the pair for $400.00. You can google Bickerton portable and read about the history and it's inventor. 360-461-0 five five 8 Thanks for looking.
