[h=2]Vivalo NJS Track Bike Fixie - 51cm Dura-Ace - $800 (dtla arts district)[/h]https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/bik/5221630604.html

He's willing to part the frame out for $400, but I'm concerned about the fork. Doesn't in look bent at the top?

Supposing it is damaged, and the rest of the bike is fine, what would be a good offer for just the frame?

Okay, so I've been looking for a road bike for a long time now. This popped up, is there any reason I shouldn't get it? It looks like it only needs the wheels.

I know nothing about Casati, other than their reputation as a good Italian maker. Likewise, I know nothing about Campy 8sp Ergo, other than that some people seem to like it. That said, this bike looks like it might have promise:

Early 1990`s CASATI Ellisse , Italian Racing Bike CAMPAGNOLO

Smokin' deal on a 3 or 4 speed Raleigh Lenton Sport. Paint looks pretty good, too. I need another project like I need a hole in my tube, otherwise I'd be all over this:

Pretty low end, and likely in need of an overhaul, but the price is right.

Serotta hand-built road bike with Dura Ace and Columbus tubing - 56cm $700

Shimano Dura-Ace all over: DA headset, brakes, shifters, derailleurs, cranks. Wheels are Dura-Ace hubs laced to Mavic Open rims. Sweet pantographed 3ttt stem with "Serotta" etched into it.

I've set it up with Nitto upright handlebars, and I'll include the original Dura Ace brakes if you want to change up the handlebars to the standard drop style.

If you don't have a spare wheelset lying around, then pass. The most cost-effective way to source a wheelset is to buy a complete bike off of CL, and at that point, why bother with this incomplete one?

If this was a nicer frame, then buying new wheels for it might make sense. But the cost of wheels, rim strips, tubes, and tires adds up quickly.

Interesting. Very quirky cool.

Custom 70s Road Bike built in MA! 50cm Chris King Bullseye Phil Wood
Custom 70s Road Bike built in MA! 50cm Chris King Bullseye Phil Wood - $550 (boston)

Selling a late 70s custom fabricated road bike. Can't find any info on this frame, but story goes it was built in Dorchester, MA by Native Frames. Bike is a very beautiful build for its time, with some very unique frame details. Built with sealed cartridge bearings throughout! Bullseye hubs and derailleur pulleys, Phil Wood bottom bracket, Chris King no logo headset. The drivetrain is Suntour/Avocet mix. Mafac Racer center pull brakes tied to Suntour Superbe levers.

Bike was moved last winter through a blizzard on the back of the car, and suffered some damage as a result. Some serious paint loss on the downtube, a few small dings on the top tube, and two of the water bottle bosses are broken.

Other things of note are that the bottom bracket has a bit of play but still spins smooth. The chris King baseplate is an older aluminum one and has cracked, but also still adjust fairly smoothly. Hubs could use new bearings as well.

Despite all that, it rides and looks great! Super rare and unique bike that'll definitely turn some heads!

50cm CTC seat tube
51 CTC top tube.
700c wheels
3x5 drivetrain
All new cables and housing, chain, tubes, and brake pads.
Selle anatomical saddle and bar tape

$550 OBO. All cash offers welcome but no trades!

Check my other listing for bikes and bike parts getting posted in the next few days!

Let me take a wild guess; Native Frames sold very few frames and is no longer in business.
