I have that stem on one of my Kvales until my new stem is finished.

Seems to be taking plenty long.........

I didn't ask about the spare fork brand. I don't think it's Colnago.
Here is the shop if anyone wants to take advantage of it. It's not in the cards for me, sadly.

Having a stem finished? Are you referring to a custom build of some sort? Do tell...

Having one crafted locally by a "builder."

Happy to share pics/details when it finished.

Nothing wrong with the one on it, but just want to fancy it up a bit.

For this Kvale.

If this interest you in a lower budget >
This one was posted on CL a few weeks back. I saved the image and info. Year wasn't listed but I think my guess is close enough. Sadly its really corroded. Probably would need a serious dunk and complete re-paint, including the fork.

Surely was tempting as I'm one to ride chipped up, scratched mild scars bikes, yet I couldn't see having a Colnago in this condition. More inclined to pay the extra and have a near mint condition.

Very cool. I look forward to seeing the final product. I'd love to get a source for a classic looking 90 degree quill road stem. Those Nitto Dynamics are getting hard to come by in longer reaches.

For or some reason, that stem looks so much better on the Kvale than it does on that Colnago. Also, I am told the Colnago comes with another stem, I don't know the kind. And it had been outfitted with fenders so there is some chipping on the rear seat tube. But still, for $775 USD, it still sounds like a steal.

I'd probably go with a Cinelli grammo Art stem torn the colnago. Might as well go over the top.

Centurion Ironman David Scott - $300 (Chestnut Hill)

Centurion Ironman David Scott model. Excellent condition and a fast old school bike. The large frame is just too big for me so I am selling. Haven't touched it this summer so probably could use a light tuneup.

Not sure if I've outed this before, but it seems familiar. Still, seems like a good price for a large Miyata in very good condition.

Could make for a nice SSXC bike, with eccentric hub or BB, or just find the magic ratios for it.

IDK, to me that horse needs a rest. A crippled touring frame from a company known for compact geometry... Sure, it could be pressed into duty but there are other, more willing, choices out there.

I wonder how this bike rides.

Van Hulsteijn bicycle w/ Shimano 105

Van Hulsteijn bicycle w/ Shimano 105 - $1750

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Van Hulsteijn
size / dimensions: Medium

safety tips
prohibited items
product recalls
avoiding scams

Unique Dutch, Van Hulsteijn road bike, black, size medium (56-58cm equivalent), stainless steel frame, built to order in summer of 2013
Built up with Shimano 105 drivetrain incl. derailleurs, crank & bottom bracket, and brakes, PD-M785 SPD pedals, RS-20 wheels, Brooks saddle, fenders & knog lights included

Would make a great single speed/fixie if you are so inclined

Used for one season as commuter, less than 1000kms on bike. Selling because I have sustained damage to my knee that prevents me from riding comfortably, have only used the bike twice this year.
