Nice 7-11 Merckx with Record 10 and the very confusing combo of DT shifters and what look to be Record Carbon brake levers. I'm wondering if someone went through the effort of removing the shifter paddles from the levers.

Eddy Merckx Corsa, 56cm Campagnolo Record 10speed. 7/11 Paint, Columbus SL

I think Campy was making those around 2010. Dunno if they still do, though.

condition: excellent
This is a classy custom built Bridgestone RB-1. Everything is proper Japanese components except for the saddle and tires. It doesn't get any better than this. Professionally built and maintained. Paint and decals were redone recently and the drivetrain has no more than 2000 miles on it.

$2000 with Shimano 105? Lay off the crack man. Someone's putting a huge Bridgestone premium on that thing.

Don't know, but my guess would be 21 inch as well.

That's an awfully stiff frame for 52cm, although think I have seen them in that size. I love the one above, but his asking price for CL is pretty ambitious. I'd be a buyer at $700ish. (It also looks bigger than 56).

Is that bad? (Never having so much as sniffed MAX tubing before, I wouldn't know.) How much stiffer is it than SLX?

To be clear, I can ride anywhere from 51-54cm, although I'd say 52-53 is the sweet spot.

There's a beautiful MXL in your size - complete - on ebay. In such a small frame I'm not sure something like max is really needed.

There is such a thing as too much - like 80s Cannondales.

This looks like a Corsa '01 in your size for $350, not a bad price....

Many Nice Vintage Frames Tommasini

Thanks. I know they're out there, but I'm looking for an MXL (or, failing that, a Corsa Extra) in Telekom or Weinmann colors in particular.

You would like it a lot until you had to ride it all the time.

Gracious, these are robust, aggressive framesets!!!

Gorgeous example in the exact color scheme I would seek though.

I can see why someone would like it.

I'm amazed at all the cool stuff that is for sale right now.

A lot. imho

I would try to ride one first. If you are are light, say 140 to 160, I would think about this a bit.

I'm a big guy and these framesets work pretty well for me.

Pretty much the exact bike I'm looking for in the color way I like the most. If it is indeed a 56, it's a size too small for me. Looks bigger than that though...

I don't mind paying a price for a bike I'm actively seeking, but his ask seems a tad steep to me. Uncertain of what they would go for outside of the bay though. Close-ish to me too... Maybe a trip to Milwaukee/Chicago is in order...

56cm Schwinn Superior Road Bike

56cm Schwinn Superior Road Bike - $250 (Mechanicsville)

56cm Schwinn Superior in good condition. One of the last fillet brazed models, somewhat rare & made in limited numbers. Made in the same factory as the Paramounts I believe. This one is all original except it is currently set up with a more modern set of wheels. I have the original set of wheels & chain that will be included at no additional charge. Please e-mail with phone number if interested. Thank you.

Canondale on NH CL

$150

Usual crummy photos. Poster says its ~12 years old.... looks like a much older model to me

Also geometry and rack mounts say touring, not racing. But with Shimano 600 components, price is right

Me too, or some small person has a LOT of power and rides glass-like roads.

That and I also think it's price is a BIT over the top.

This has been sitting for a little while. A guy I went to school with used to own a bicycle shop there. It might be his for all I know.

https://wichitafalls.craigslist.org/bik/5274367926.html

1990 Zunow Z-1 - $1000 (Wichita Falls)

make / manufacturer: Zunow
model name / number: Z-1

I am selling my baby. It is 56 cm Zunow Z-1. Your chance to own a rare hand built Japanese steel frame bike. Has a Shimano 600 group but we both know you aren't buying for the group. The front fork is original and chrome. Some rust from being 25+ years old but the paint is in decent condition. Asking $1000 obo. I can show it anytime.
Email me and we can talk it over. Bike is currently 95% assembled. Pics are from the last time I tore it down and cleaned it.
