A vintage Motobecane "LeChampion" with Campagnolo Nuovo Record components;
crank, pedals, derailleurs, brakes, bottom bracket and headset. The frame is Reynolds
531 tubing, frame size is 59cm from ctr. bb to ctr. of top tube. French hubs, bar
and stem. This is very nice classic bike ready to ride. Addition pix upon request.
$495 cash and pick-up only
I'm a newbie, but perfectly nice
I've been looking for a higher end vintage Motobecane. Would anyone be interested in facilitating shipment of this bike to Atlanta?

56cm TEAM Miyata
Jap'neez steel
Like new!

Seller is willing to ship from an LBS but wouldn't budge on price.

Best I can tell it's a '90 from the catalog and graphics.

The TEAM Miyata had the brake cable internally routed through the top tube. In the case of the frameset for sale, it looks like it has three cable braze ons across the top of the top tube. Only the lower end Miyatas were built that way. Even the mid level bikes like the 700 series were internally routed. Looks like a really nice frame, but I can't really figure out what it is.

Champion tubing, it felt pretty light. I saw this bike when I went to buy something else from him. If it fits you and what you might be looking for it's worth a look. I didn't inspect it closely since I was out of cash and have 3 in the queue now.

I don't know what ONP means. It looks like a repainted 1981 Nishiki Pro to me. I'd make an offer if I didn't hate fade paint jobs.

A nice small-frame (48cm) Centurion on Craigslist here, with the obligatory "fixed gear conversion" reference:

48cm Centurion Road Bike - $100 (appleton)

Up for sale is a lightweight 80's, 48cm, Centurion, 12-Speed Shimano accu-shift, road bike in very good condition. The frame is made w/ Tange, double butted chromoly. It is almost all original and comes w/ full alloy shimano components. Upgraded seat. This beautiful centurion is whiteand blue. This bike is Perfect for a small rider. J 920-277-2361

This bike has horizontal drop-outs and is perfect as-is or would make a beautiful fixie/single-speed conversion.

If you're looking for a certain type of bike, let me know!!!!!!

Not sure if this is a great deal, but it certainly looks nice. Is it a BFer? Ivandarken?

Its time to send this lovely ride on to a new home. Check out the specs and drop me an e-mail if you are seriously interested.

Model: early '90's Corsa Team Molteni

Frame: 54cm cc Columbus SL (steel frame)

Component group: All Campy Athena with Campy Vento rims (smooth and fast)

Condition: Overall very good. This ride has been loved but does have a lot of miles. Could use some detailing and the paint does have some minor chips.

Price is firm. Saddle and pedals not included. Cash and carry only, thanks!

Incorrect. That particular frameset is a 'Team'. Sloping fork crown, race number braze-on under the top tube, chrome rear stays.

57cm Motobecane Grand Tourer road bike. Probably from the early 1970's. Fully functional. Cosmetically challenged, however the frame is straight with no dents or dings. 32" standover height. Nice alloy wheels. Nice Bontrager Select saddle. Need it out of my basement.
$65 firm (means nothing lower)

I might be able to help out; thinking about going to the auto show Monday.

Today's thrift shop circuit report- nothing but Huffsters.
But Mrs. Leftthread found her St. Vinnie's gift, a vintage sterling and jade ring.

Frame is 80's steel, basically what you're paying for. Wheels, bearings and other parts (cranks, breaks, seat post, stem, chain etc.) are all pretty beat, but the bike is functional as is if you don't want to replace parts immediately.
