I have that same model Course, well same components but a couple of years older on the graphics. It's a perfectly fine bicycle, and does NOT have the dead thud ride of your average electroforged Schwinn. much nicer bike actually. Springy ride and nice manners.,,,,BD

Looks to be well done which makes it a pretty good deal considering the components that come on it. I know my frame up Tempo build exceeded this amount when I tally everything up.

If my Lemond frame sells tomorrow, that will be the first email I send. Looks like my exact size, and mid 80's Fuji's do it for me in a major way. Still regretting that I sold my 84 Club. An 84 Team would more than make up for that.,,,,BD

As much as I would love to, I'd only take it apart and put the parts on something else. Those brakes and the road triple Deore are first time see'em items for me. That would make a VERY nice donor bike for my 520, if I was going to completely modernize it. I wish I knew where that guy got his bikes, because he seems to find EVERY decent used bike in the city, and lists it as found for $100-$150 over what someone would snap it up for. He doesn't waste time on fixing them up, either. He asks top dollar straight home from the flea market.

He also went and snagged a VERY crusty 60's Botecchia around the corner from me, for $40 or less. I turned it down because I suspected it had a lot of internal rust. He then promptly listed it for $200 after soaking the assembled bike in oxalic acid. He will list bikes for a year or two at the same price before reducing them. He's definitely not one of my favorite flippers in town. Lets put it that way.,,,,BD

One of the better deals to come from our friend on 1960@Jones RD. Too small for me plus I'm still mentally wrestling with how I can justify a serious look at that Ironman Master. I may be kicked out of the house as well!

There's a good deal on a trek 620
Hell of a deal! You can't even get the frame for that here:

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bop/5315585623.html
[h=2]22.5" Trek 600 Series Frame & Fork - $150 (Belmont)[/h]

do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
1983 Trek 600 Series frameset with Reynolds 531 DB tubing & Tange Mangaloy fork. Cleaned & regreased Tange Levin headset in excellent condition and SR Laprade seat post. Almost identical geometry to the well known Trek 520 but with slightly longer chainstays for better heal clearance with panniers.

From the VintageTrek website:

"The 620 touring bike was offered in 1983, 84, and 85. It was a level above the 520, but because it was short lived and no longer in production, it is not as familiar to potential purchasers. On the used market, this often means less money for an even better bike. Only the 85 model had the extra-long 47cm chainstays, matching those of the 720.

Some Trek models shared the same frame. For example, if you want a 1983 frame with 620 geometry and materials, you can look for a 1983 600, 630, or 640, all of which have the same characteristics as the 620. The geometry and frame materials are normally given in the brochure for that year."

Yep, also me. I was certain I needed a new welder, and was offloading to help fund it. I think I have it narrowed down to having the ORIGINAL wire liner in it!!!. Supposed to be replaced about every 6 months to a year depending on usage, and I bought the welder used in 1995!! Chalk it up to having too much on my mind....Yeah, that's it!,,,,BD

The Lemond frame is sold! Time to get wheels built for the 520. It's the main thing that is holding back the build.

Looks like a mislabeled year, maybe an '85 or '86 PH501 or PGN10 at a meager $90 OBO. If I was local, I'd jump on it. Looks like 501 frame with 103 fork? Dunno, but still worth less than $100. I'd toss out an offer of $75 and ride off like I stole it.
