Model doesn't matter in this case...if you want to flip it! Shucks...the flickstand on it is worth the $25!

I really like this. Seller says it's a Falcon, but I think it might actually be a Kessels. I spy two sets of bottle bosses, eyelets fore and aft, a derailleur hanger, Campy parts, and what looks to be Capella lugs and a Cinelli stem.

I hope a C&Ver gets it and builds it up.

I put about 1200 miles on it in the past 18 months. Looks like new and rides like a total dream. Beautiful hand painted Red, yellows and greens in the Colnago style. Will send pics to interested parties. Needs to go - baby on the way. Does not include Garmin GPS or Pedals. Email and ask for Tony.

Minty Super Course. Sorry for the wall of text.

[h=2]Vintage Raleigh Super Course Road Bike - $250 (Bloomington, MN)[/h]Vintage Raleigh Super Course Road Bike

I have a very nice Raleigh Super Course Road Bike for sale. I don't know what year it is but would guess the 70's? I got this from the original owner who bought it and realized it was too big for him. He hung it upside down in his basement after putting on less than 5 miles on it, it sat there until a few weeks ago. I cant guarantee his story 100% but it all seems legit to me. Look at the pictures and you be the judge. Look at the the sidewall of the rims they look new barely have had the brakes applied to them, same with the tires, I thought they were newer because they are not dry rotted he said that no sunlight got to the bike in the basement which is why the tires are so nice. The paint is a very nice orange copper color. It looks copper colored and when its in direct light its more of a metallic candy orange. There are some scratches on it but overall I would say for its age you wont find a nicer bike than this. I tried to take some pictures of some of the flaws but they dont show up well in the pictures. Frame made from Reynolds 531 tubing, with beautiful lugging around the joints. This is a big frame. Measures just over 25 inches from center of bottom bracket to top of seat post. Standover height measured at the top tube is just over 35 inches. I am 6 feet tall and can ride it but I had to put the seat all the way down and still cant put both feet flat on the ground without hurting myself. I did take it for a test ride around the block and the shifters work great. Went in and out of gears smoothly. The brakes worked but squeak probably due to age, so the pads should probably should be replaced. Pedals have toe clips with leather belts around them that are also in good shape for the age. Bar tape is supposed to be original as well. My price is firm at $250 Cash only I will delete this ad as soon as it is sold. Call me NO TEXTS!!!at

Panasonic PT-3500

I bought this thanks to you, thanks!

Odd bike. Seems like good mid-range bike but has tacky features like flimsy "Panasonic" stickers on the tops of the seat stays, lower end of the Laprade seatposts, non-stainless spokes, etc. But forged dropouts. I'd rate this Panasonic PT-3500 between the triplebutted version of the Miyata Two-Ten and the 610 in quality. Tange 1000 CroMo

Anyway, it fits and I've been looking for a better fitting touring frame and a Panasonic and got 2in1!

Hmmm, maybe. But I kind of think the Miyata's own custom made triplebutted tubing of the 210 would be a better frame than the Panasonic. Interesting comparison, but personally I would lean towards the 210 being the better frame of the two with the Panasonic having better components slapped on it.

But I'm pretty sure that the mixed bag of components is the only reason I was able to get a De Rosa in San Diego in that condition for $650 all in.

De Rosa 55 cm Vintage Italian Steel Campagnolo Beautiful Condition | eBay
FYI, the same guy who sold me the De Rosa in the San Diego area has several other older steel classics that he's selling - unfortunately, he seems to want to sell them in small tranches, rather than just making them all available at once. He sent me the following list, as well as pictures of all of these - my take is that his descriptions are honest and conservative. Let me add that I have no financial interest in the sale of these, other than I am a very satisfied buyer of one of his bikes, and I could facilitate for interested buyers outside of Southern California. He's not yet put these up on CL or ebay. I've cut and pasted directly from his e-mail to me.

"Here's what I have to sell today. There will be anoth 2-3 coming when these
sell.

Late 80's Colnago SLX Spiral Conic 56x56 c-t silver w/ spider web paint, all
campy stuff 9 sp downtube, etc. $1000.

80's Guerciotti 56x56 c-c Italian red Columbus w/ touched up scratches, mix
of campy stuff, friction shifters, nice wheels, etc $700.

Late 70's Schwinn Paramount, P13 I THINK, 56x56 c-c campy nuovo record, nice
blue paint, needs decals, $1000.

All the ages are estimates, and the c-c measurements should be confirmed.
Steve took good care of his bikes, and they will easily shine nicely again.
A package deal for all 3 is welcome, with minimum headache. I'm attaching
some pics. I have more, and will provide exact measurements as needed. Let
me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you."

My take, after looking at the pictures are that the Colnago looks to be the best of the bunch, and the Guerciotti is good, but nowhere near as screaming of a deal as the De Rosa that he was asking the same price for - and the Paramount is priced a bit high relative to the cosmetics. If there's any serious interest, PM me and I'll forward more photos and the guy's contact information
