Let me add that I have no financial interest in the sale of these, other than I am a very satisfied buyer of one of his bikes, and I could facilitate for interested buyers outside of Southern California. He's not yet put these up on CL or ebay. I've cut and pasted directly from his e-mail to me.

"Here's what I have to sell today. There will be anoth 2-3 coming when these
sell.

Late 80's Colnago SLX Spiral Conic 56x56 c-t silver w/ spider web paint, all
campy stuff 9 sp downtube, etc. $1000.

80's Guerciotti 56x56 c-c Italian red Columbus w/ touched up scratches, mix
of campy stuff, friction shifters, nice wheels, etc $700.

Late 70's Schwinn Paramount, P13 I THINK, 56x56 c-c campy nuovo record, nice
blue paint, needs decals, $1000.

All the ages are estimates, and the c-c measurements should be confirmed.
Steve took good care of his bikes, and they will easily shine nicely again.
A package deal for all 3 is welcome, with minimum headache. I'm attaching
some pics. I have more, and will provide exact measurements as needed. Let
me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you."

My take, after looking at the pictures are that the Colnago looks to be the best of the bunch, and the Guerciotti is good, but nowhere near as screaming of a deal as the De Rosa that he was asking the same price for - and the Paramount is priced a bit high relative to the cosmetics. If there's any serious interest, PM me and I'll forward more photos and the guy's contact information
I think you got the "pick of the litter" here...great deal on the Derosa!

Not super high-end (Columbus Tretubi, GS crank and brakes, Nuovo GS rear derailleur), and kinda pricey (seller is asking $1250), but still looks nice. And it has Mavic SSC rims. Given the large amount of chrome showing, my guess is the frame is fully chromed under the paint.

Hey @Rocket-Sauce !

Just wanted to say thanks for this awesome find! I called up Ron and we negotiated down to a fair price, $35 shipping and 4 weeks later, it just found its new home via FedEx. The thing is in damn near mint shape for an almost 30-year-old bike, down to the original tires (Michelin Select 700x23C per catalog). The only thing non-stock is the pedals, best I can tell. The bike doesn't look like it was ridden more than a hundred miles then boxed up, frankly.

Seriously, Ron was one of the most friendly people I've ever dealt with and - no lie - one of the best packing jobs I've seen to date. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, I can't say enough positive things about buying from Ocean Cycle!

Some cheap quick pics:

Service the head/hubs/BB, then polish it up, put proper pedals on and ride the hell out of it! Exactly what the previous owner should've done (but I'm glad they didn't)

If that were my size, I'd be all over it, mainly because I have a Shogun 1000 that's very similar.
Of course, if it were my size, it would also be your size, and I wouldn't be seeing it.

Trek 610! 56cm! Super light!

[h=2]Trek 610! 56cm! Super light! - $280 (Brighton)[/h]

do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
Up for sale is a late 1980s Trek 610. I bought this on eBay from an untrustworthy seller and unfortunately already put money into a cleaning/new rear derailler and the bike still has lots of problems. Those things aside, if you crave a build-up or quick beater for commuting, this bike is wonderful. It has a Shimano 600 groupset, with a new Shimano derailler. Reynolds 531 frame, so it's incredibly light and fast.

Firstly, the fork and stem have been rusted and frozen tight. The set screw isn't even a part of the assembly anymore, and the stem is so tight and unmovable, it's going to be best to just cut off and purchase a new fork/stem combination. Paint on the bike is chipping and I've been spotting it with nail polish for the time being. Could use a good powder coat and it'll be good as new. Brake and shift cables are rusted as well, but still function, will need to be replaced.

I had the bottom bracket rebuilt a few months ago and it rides smooth. Comes with clipless Shimano pedals and some flat BMX pedals that I'll throw in.

The bike has its problems, but it's still really fast and would make a great commuter. If you want to take a look, I'd be happy to meet in front of the Brookline Police Department for you to take it for a ride.

Thanks!

I remember these being pretty low-level contenders back in their day. Maybe they're sought after now for commuter projects or something?

I'll be happy when this vintage mountain bike thing passes.
