Early 70s Viking. The $300 starting bid would seem to be a great price if you were close enough to pick it up. Maybe not so much if you hit the BIN price and have to have it shipped.

Scam alert. Worst thing about this is they're all going to end up on eBay as the real deal.

Kind of a mish mash of parts but if it's your size.. Concor saddle is a bonus if it's in good shape.

Not sure what that is. Looks like a Bowden Spacelander but it's missing the downtube.

1984 Bianchi Super Leggera Celeste 56cm Ed Litton Paint

[h=2]1984 Bianchi Super Leggera Celeste 56cm Ed Litton Paint - $850 (Cape Cod/Harwich)[/h]

make / manufacturer: Bianchi

do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
1984 Bianchi Super Leggera road bike.Same as used by Italian team in 1984 Summer Olympics. Lugged Columbus SL/SP double butted chromoly frame measures 56cm center to center with 32.5" standover height. Bike was repainted by Ed Litton in the late 2000's far superior to original finish and updated with mix of modern silver ( to keep the vintage look ) Mostly Veloce Campagnolo Ergo shifting 9 speed components. Chorus headset. Record cranks.TTT handlebars and stem. Wheels are Athena hubs with Mavic SUP Open Pro 32 spoke wheels with Vittoria Celeste 700x23c tires.Original Super Record pantographed seat post .Kind of like driving a vintage Ferrari resto-modded with modern shifting and braking.Bike is flawless except for one touched up nick on top tube.Condition is near show quality.Drive train has less than 600 miles logged since conversion.I have really enjoyed it but have too many bikes. First $850 picked up takes it. Second set of Spinergy XAero wheels with Vittoria Super Corsa tires available for an additional $150. I answer responses that include a phone number.

Since my bro-in-law bought a new Jamis Aurora instead of this one that I told him about, I'll go ahead and post it. I can't imagine it's still available at this price, but I never got a response and he could never meet up with the guy, so who knows? At least it's a droolworthy deal.

Schwinn Voyager vintage touring bike

Schwinn Voyager vintage touring bike - $100 (Richmond)

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Schwinn
model name / number: Voyageur
size / dimensions: 58 cm

Selling my vintage Schwinn Voyager. Rode it for about a year as a trusty commuter around the VCU and Church Hill areas. Would be great for a commuting student! 58 cm frame, downtube shifters, 3x5 drivetrain, good cantilever brakes in the front and rear, and a cool book rack on the back. Asking $100 FIRM. Email me if you have any questions or would like to come and take a look at the bike!

Price is dropping on this unusual item after several weeks on CL.

Custom Marinoni Touring Bicycle

Custom Marinoni Touring Bicycle - $480 (Waynesboro)

2108 Pickett Rd.

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Marinoni
model name / number: Touring
size / dimensions: 27-inch wheels

For sale is my custom Marinoni touring bicycle. This sweet bike has taken me on thousands of miles of road touring over the years. It was built to fit my short stature (5 feet seven inches), and specially designed and constructed to be a long-distance, hill-climbing, solid touring bike. Its Italian heritage , spritely geometry, and long rear stays make it a perfect long-distance touring machine. It has a mix of Campagnolo brakes, Huret titanium shifters, Phil Woods hubs, and indestructible Wolber wheels that were specifically chosen by Signor Marinoni himself to be my ultimate touring machine. Sadly, after 35 years of yeoman duty, it is time to bequeath this beauty to a younger person who wants to ride across America, and other shores. Don't miss out on this beauty.

Standover height is 29-inches.

That's the color of my Voyager I found in the dumpster, they call it champagne but it looks more like a moss color, champagne has more gold coloring in it. Not sure what those weird seat tube decals are all about unless they're covering paint damage, or maybe frame damage that was repaired.

Probably just a bumper sticker for someone who loves their bike. That would be an unusual place to have damage without messing up another part of the frame.
