This is a Miyata 312 12 speed touring/sport bike. The bike is super clean, nice paint and the tires have almost no wear. The frame is triple butted and is on the larger side with a 33 inch stand over, approximately 58 cm with a measurement of 23 inches from the top of the seat tube to the center if the pedal shaft. The bike comes with an odometer, bike seat pack, tire pump and new extra tube. Feel free to email or call with questions 978 461 2824

Peugeot PRN-10 - $250 (Haverhill)

Date: 2010-02-15, 10:21AM EST
Reply to: sale-es3km-1601485563@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling my Peugeot as it is, sadly, too small for me. The frame size is 54cm and it is made of Reynolds 531 tubing. The bike is mostly original including the Ideal leather saddle bars, stem, seatpost, brakes and drive train (a Shimano front derailure is mounted now but the original Simplex is included in the sale). Only the wheel/tires are non-OEM (although the skewers ARE) and the tires are new Continentals last year. Please e-mail me for more and higher resolution pictures or just come up and see it.

Peter Mooney-Custom Road - $2000 (Hartford)

Date: 2010-02-16, 5:00PM EST
Reply to: sale-gkvtq-1603915419@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

THE BIKE: Custom hand built by P.Mooney at Belmont Wheelworks. Nuobium steel with custom lugg work. Beautifull dark pewter metallic paint with black panels and black/gold lettering and gold pinstripes. Frame and fork match and are in near perfect condition. The fork has not been used. I swapped it with a Reynolds Ouzo Pro full carbon. Both are available. I have only put approx 4000 miles on this bike since 2005 as I've had others to ride in inclement and seasonal weather conditions. This bike rides better than any other I've owned (Serotta; Waterford; Paramount). This frame and steel fork were $2250 and I later changed to this custom paint +$650.By Mooney as well.
The carbon fork was $450. Head tube is threadless with 1 1/8 sizing.
Frame, steel fork with the King headset ($125) ...I offer it for $1100. If you want the carbon fork as well, add $150.

SIZING: top tube= 55.5cm/ seat tube= 52cm -both center to center. Stand over hgt.= 78cm floor to top of seat tube. Standard geo not sloping.

It is currently set up as follows:
Campy Record 10 spd. shifters; derailleurs f+r; brakes; Record Alu. crank in standard size (172.5) w/ square taper BB .
FSA o/s carbon bar-42cm. Record carbon seat post. Ritchey stem. Fizik saddle. Record pedals.
Wheels: Mavic Open Pros with Chorus hubs and Chorus cassette (12-25) 32 hole.
Tires-Conti's f+r 500mi. clinchers.
Wipperman s/s chain.

As noted $2000. Add the carbon fork +$150.

Original cost= $5000+

Pix available- email request. hgmjfm@comcast.net along with any other questions. Can be delivered anywhere in so. New England ( inc. ME., NH VT., RI, MA., CT) and NYC area inc LI.

I don't dare mention this to the wife (after just getting the Schwinn Prelude), but there is a 1970s Raleigh Grand Prix (I think 1976 model) that looks like it's in nearly NOS condition. Anyone in the DFW area that's tall (64 cm frame) and wants a classic Raleigh, this is the one.

From the catalog...

Shimano 25th Anniversary Group - $1100 (Raleigh NC)

Date: 2010-02-16, 9:02PM EST
Reply to: sale-57yyz-1604247005@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

New (never installed) in "James Bond" type aluminum carrying case. Case still has clear protective cover on top/bottom and is inside factory Shimano white protective cardboard cover and this is inside brown shipping cover. All shipping numbers match ( 4394 ). Crank is 172.5 and cassette is 12/23. Also included is a NOS blue DuraAce baseball cap and med.sized 25th Anniversary jersey. The 25th Anniversary Seiko watch (very nice watch) is included -still in wrapper- as well as the "coffee table" book of the history of DuraAce , the boxed set of installation instructions and the letter of "thank you" for Shimano. In other word exactly as it came fom the factory including the locking key and key cover - except for a couple extras (cap/jersey). Photos available if interested.

I don't know if anyone's seen this, but I found this: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/1603928028.html

55cm Centurion IronMan Dave Scott Master (Shimano 600) - $325 (berkeley)

Date: 2010-02-16, 2:06PM PST
Reply to: sale-je3rz-1603928028@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Top of the line Centurion back in '88, this was the IronMan Dave Scott Masters edition that came fully loaded with a full shimano 600 group.

Here are the specs as follows:
Shimano 600 lever
Shimano 600 brake calipers
Shimano 600 rear derailleur
Shimano 600 front derailleur
Shimano 600 hubs
Shimano 600 12-21 7 speed cassette
Shimano 600 bottom bracket
Shimano 600 crankset 172.5mm 53/39

Extras/goodies :
brand new Cinelli yellow cork tape
brand new black/yellow Seca RS rear tire/tube (color matched to front michelin tire)
Selle Italia Flite genuine gel seat with Titanium rails
New break cables/housings

Bike is in pretty sweet condition and rides really well. Frame has a couple tiny dings and scratches, but it's a 22 year old bike so that's expected. Very minor surface rust visible on some screws. Bike is ready to ride home and enjoy. I'll even throw in a set of aero bars with yellow bar tape as well if you want.
One word to notice : wheels could use a slight truing but nothing bad, and the rear hub could use some grease, but again this is all simple do it yourself stuff, or take it to a shop and have them do it. Either way, super nice and rideable bike.

Willing to meet-up anywhere in the East Bay area.

---------------------------------------------------------------
I already showed Robbie, and he can't take it. I'm mainly just looking at it for the group. Someone take it before I do something bad...

I like that Ironman. I'd take it if it were my size and on this side of the country!

Nothing as nice to offer, but this seemed... risky. What's a swingbike? Portable musclebike?

Thank you Bob.

Geez, I thought it looked a little unsafe. I like the idea though. It make me think of the old slingshot MTBs, though apparently these weren't as effective!

It is too small for me and Scott, so I might as well post here. Neither of us have seen this before and the fork looks strange without a chrome crown. At the very least, this will be interesting to watch.

Top tube is 55cm again center to center.Frame is nice and strait couple of straches on paint.See Last 2 pictures... (NO DENT WHAT SO EVER) It has Nice Chris King headset on. Take it ride you know it is nice strait ride.Drive train mixed matched (as much as it is; works, has long life.It just doesn't fit this frame nicely)I try to describe; ultegra 9sp sti,600 brakes & crank.Ultegra 9s rear and front der.American clasic s.post.(piece of **** bars and stem just looks NOT nice). Mavic cosmos rear wheel, dura ace front hub with open pro rim. If you want to ride as is it will serve you for long time no problem. If you want super steel lugged frame; it is the bike. My Turbo is a 56cm, that has to be a 58. Robbie noted that it's not all-original, but aside from the seat (not a Turbo) that's way beyond my ability to spot from a tiny pic. Catalog stated weight: 21 lbs, not bad for 1984.
