Beautiful Basso (some scrapes and if those hubs were white, wow!) with Sante group , pricey IMO but I am not real familiar with these and would buy if I had money to throw around just for the color scheme . Fork is too long? I know these came in frame fork sets but not sure if that is typical. If so, maybe it has never really been completed.

They are very nice framesets, generally speaking.

I think he just means that it's a pouch on the bike that is black and affixed to the saddle beneath your bum. Or not.

This place in LaPorte, Indiana, has a huge basement full of bikes they are trying to clear out. Mostly lower end bikes with some decent C&V road bikes in as-is condition, Fujis, a couple of True Temper Le Tours, etc. Upstairs, in the regular store though, I spotted what appeared to be a 3Rensho, about 56-57 cm if I were to guess. It looked legit, but it was heavier than I expected. I asked how much they wanted, and the guy said $300. Not being an expert and expecting a lighter bike, I passed, but I was surprised to see it. They also had a very old Reynolds Peugeot frame with Campy and Cinelli parts attached, but I was told it was not for sale.

$360 1972 Peugeot Px-10 - Seattle's a fairly hot market and while this doesn't have the fancy Nervex lugs, paint looks to be in good shape and comes with an old Brooks Professional saddle. Not necessarily a price to flip but seems reasonable for one to ride (womp womp, in Canadian dollars it's $525 ish and rising so definitely not worth it for me...): Peugeot PX 10 all original in good condition

Put me on the list for a CSI in my size. I'll have to get in line I guess. For now my Atlanta will have to do. The $2500 asking price for that Colorado is just a TAD high. The price is pretty reasonable if you find a Serotta frame that is not pristine.

Glad somebody who cared got it and is able to recycle. I'm really not into C&V but appreciate nice machines and those who love them.

Good luck with it.

How close do you live to that 3Rensho. Hmmm low/mid of my size range if you want to pick up. LOL.

At that price if decals are there and its in fairly good shape with no damage (dents etc) I don't see how you can go wrong. And I am sure if you walked in with cash they would move on the price. Post pics in valuation if really are interested in it and need to verify. The prices being asked on these are high, they may not be getting the 3k on ebay right now (very clean frame only) but it appears owners are holding them for value increases due to tradgedy.

Vintage 57cm Peugeot Fixed-Gear Singlespeed Bike

I'm posting this not because I believe that any rational person would want it, but because I find the ad to be astoundingly annoying. It seems that almost every single-speed/fixie is "sweet", and frequently "awesome." But what really got my attention is the front wheel. Yes, cupcake, there probably is a reason why "no one has wheels like this."

Yikes.

1981 Trek 715 Reynolds 531C Steel Frame

From the photos, it appears that the downtube doesn't have posts for shift levers. Would I be correct in believing that this frame had them initially?

The 82 does not so I assume the 81 would also not have them. I could not find good enough pictures of an 81 to tell.
