Good luck! I disagree with this being a PX-10. I don't see any Reynolds sticker on the DT or fork and the fork has non-Reynolds-model decals. It could just as easily be a non-Reynolds but better-than UO10 bike, maybe euro-market? It's a weird one, maybe it's just that it's not actually chrome on the rear? I'm not the definitive resource for Peugeot, though, so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

As for what we know for sure:

The logos on the DT and ST are indicative of a '75-'78 bike, I think probably the latter two years if the fork is red/white/blue in the shield. The crankset and (if Atom quill) pedals are worth more than half the asking price of $150, if that's an LJ Simplex RD, those three parts could net over $100 on fleabay. Would be a shame to cannibalize it though. The lack of cable stops on the TT suggests something in the mid-to-high end range. If all-original and that chrome rear is real it and the lack of Reynolds sticker should help to narrow it down to someone who knows Peugeot inside and out.

Make sure you know about crankset puller needs if you get it.

I like this Guerciotti SLX with Campy everything and brake lever shifters with no reserve and a $500 opening bid:

Guerciotti Road Bike Bicycle Campagnolo Mirage Brev 54cm Columbus SLX Tubing | eBay

Interesting Gitane TdF, sports tourer-ified:

Vtg Gitane Campagnolo 57cm Road Bicycle 531 Reynolds Record 3 TTT Shimano Shift | eBay

Unbranded, but frame and components both look top:

Wasn't someone just asking about buying an all campy bike for ~750 or a bit less? This might go for around that.

Early 80's SR road bike

1980s SR Pro with full Dura Ace. Not familiar with this brand at all, but it looks like a nice set up. Is the price reasonable on this one, or is it a little high?

It looks nice and I see the SR brand from time to time. A bit small but it looks classy.

DuraAce group is probably worth ~$300 by itself. Gatorskins are not cheap, the Brooks is not cheap, and the frames on SR's are generally great- japanese equivalent to 531 on their higher end bikes, which is what this looks like. Also the bike is in great condition. $375 is a good price for that for a keeper, or a collector of find Japanese steel. I'll bet they'd go down to $325 with cash though.

I think they offered it 1975-1977 or thereabouts. They call it "violet" BTW, not purple.

Just buy them. Give the guy his 150. Excellent deal. Even the vintage disk brake is kind of interesting, in a historical sort of way.
