Oops, the brake levers are not EX...sorry. I read 'brake calipers' for some reason. I've got a pair of the DA EX levers if anyone ends up with this. Unfortunately, they don't have hoods, which are very difficult to find.

Too small by a fair bit...I prefer the 61-63cm sizing depending on the bike. I thought, briefly, about taking all the DA EX stuff for Panasonic Team America rebuild (originally mostly DA EX parts), but I already have a full set of DA 7400 stuff in better condition than what's on this bike (not that its bad). I suspected the levers were not EX variety, and finding good quality EX stuff is a pain and expensive.

It's a pretty bike, but I have too many projects going...

vintage repair stand

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/bik/1610241343.html

I could possibly facilitate if someone is interested. Shipping would probably be prohibitive.

Men's Peugeot PGN-10 Bicycle - $75 (Walnut Creek)

Date: 2010-02-21, 12:01PM PST
Reply to: sale-vscrp-1611227866@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

For sale is this classic 12-speed Peugeot men's bicycle, purchased in 1983. frame size 27", all original parts except for the seat and the clip-on Shimano peddles (but I have the original toe-clips included). Presta-valve tires. The bike is in decent shape cosmetically, and rides well. Will work very well for leisure rides or as a commuter bike. You will want to purchase a new seat, as the one I have on it now is not one you will want to use. Original owners manual included. Firm offers only, as-is.

WARNING: Before even considering the purchase of this bike, I ask you to consider if you are hardcore enough for it. If you have ever had your nails done, driven under the speed limit, read Sarah Palin's autobiography or watched Oprah and taken it seriously, then this isn't for you. On the other hand, if you've ever caught a fish with your bare hands, skied down a double black diamond backwards, or eaten a bowl of nails for breakfast (WITHOUT milk), please, continue reading.

For sale is a two-wheeled self propulsion device recognized as the most efficient mode of travel in the modern world. The wheels are 26 inch sized with knobby tires, absolutely perfect for blasting through streets at 52.3mph, trails at 31.4mph, and straight over pedestrians at 15.9mph (21.7mph for midgets). At least, that's what the group of 10th degree black belt samurais who built it told me. Personally, I can go way faster.

The versatility of this bike doesn't end there. It has an entire cluster of 7 totally operational gears. These range from gear 1 for handicapped grandmothers, to gear 7, best suited for Arnold Schwarzenegger or Chuck Norris. There's no front derailleur, 'cause those are for wusses. It also has no suspension, which enables it to accelerate like a hummingbird on crack. Suspension, my friend, is also for wusses.

The paint scheme is black, red, and yellow; it's a custom job done up by Roy Lichtenstein himself. On the side is a number: 909. It refers to the number of people that I had to kill for the samurais to consider me worthy of this bike. It's okay though, if you buy it I'm sure no one will know the difference.

The asking price is 75 US dollars. Don't give me no girly-man offers either. If you still think of yourself worthy to purchase this breathtakingly remarkable vehicle, please email me. Pictures are available upon request; that is, if you think your eyes can handle the sight of something this AWESOME.
