@leegf, that Gran Sport is interesting. It looks like a Super Course with a Gran Sport paint job. I've never seen a Gran Sport with steel cranks and derailleurs.

Looks like there's a Reynolds decal just below the seat lug, so it could be a GS w/SC components...

Don't know how special (or not) this one is, but the frame seems solid (Columbus SL, Columbus dropouts) as does the full Dura-Ace group, and the price doesn't seem unreasonable.

I'm loving that Lemond, but....Matrix rims?

That crankset wasn't on any Grand Sport, Grand Sports, Gran Sport. The frame looks correct though. At least it matches the one I sold and the one I currently own. The shifters and derailleurs don't look correct. I upgraded the derailleurs and shifters on mine.

If it was the next size down I'd be ALL over this one. But since it looks like 65cm or close, I will pass on the info. Probably sold already.,,,,BD

Looks like this could be a Tim Isaac? Only one I know of that was doing the aero stays this way in the 70s/80s? I would snatch it up. That's a rare bird, and the group is worth a good chunk of the asking price.

PS - Tim Isaac linkage: Tim Issac
And this forum never fails to disappoint, aero seat stay thread: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...t-stays-5.html

I probably spoiled this one already, but I would repeat: Someone might want to snatch that up. I'd kick them a $400 offer and consider it a win. Glad it's too short for me.

I have a hard time spending as much on decals as I have into the bike. This model was not real popular so decals aren't as readily available.

I would love to go after those wheels, but it's loal pickup only. That Vitus looks really nice and I was going to bid as well, but I'm cash-poor at the moment, and my SO would likely be unhappy about having another bike around. Plus I'm 200lbs and vitus would likly feel like a wet noodle underneath me.

I've always liked those. Am I imagining it, or is the fork bent forward just the tiniest bit?

Need a tall Bianchi?

Bianchi Premio Men's Road Bike

Bianchi Premio Men's Road Bike - $250 (Near West End)

7000 Chandler Drive

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Bianchi
model name / number: Premio

Five years ago a serious biker friend fixed up this steel Bianchi road bike for me when I was married to a biker. We separated soon thereafter, so I only road it a couple of times.
The brakes are all new. I do not know the size, but I have long legs, so the frame is for such a tall person.

This little Rossin in Tucson is rough but it is cheap and has some redeeming qualities, namely a Ciocc panto'd seatpost and some Campy bits.

Today's crop of Japanese bikes from bike heaven. Clearly, NAHBS flushed them out of hiding prematurely, ahead of the storms forecast for next week

$395 seems high, not really sure what this is, unless it's from the parts bin. Seems like a drop bar conversion of a 90's hybrid Chromoly steel touring bike, Miyata

$550 1983 58cm Centurion Pro Tour townie tourer Nitto Suntour Sugino Honjo

...and Italians and Italian-style

$250 Benotto Double Top Tube w/New parts
