Based on the headtube that Miyata 618 sure looks bigger than 54 cm to me! More like a 57.

Had I not just bought a Voyageur to setup for light touring I'd have pulled the trigger on that one for sure.

Don't know why the image isn't displaying via the CL listing. CarbonFrames... That was the predecessor of Calfee, right?

Looks like a hardly ridden 60cm black '84 Peugeot PH10L, all original with a matching Silca frame pump (silca head, not campy) for $49 or $150 BIN, local pickup only in Connecticut: Vintage Peugeot 103 12 Speed Bike Bicycle Local Pickup Only | eBay

Definitely towards the mid- of the line for '84, rear brake cable thru TT is a dead giveaway. Those look like junk spots on the cranks, not scuffs or scratches. Looks like it's been in a barn for a while. I've got one... rides like a bike 2x the cost. (Catalog page)

Good flip or a great daily commuter.

Here's an odd one. Polish Romet (not to be confused with Romec), 80s vintage? Overpriced, but still interesting. Not sure where they're getting "Campagnolo" from, looks all Simplex Prestige-y to me.

I picked up a red Romet Super at a bike swap a few years ago. It was being sold by a shop who told me an old guy had traded it in on something he could still ride. It had been his pride and joy, apparently purchased from a former member of the Polish national team. It had an interesting mix of parts, 1st gen Campy SR rear derailleur (why it caught my eye), Campy crank arms with Galli chainrings, Soviet tubulars (lettering was in Cyrillic), and what looked like a Soviet copy of a Campy bottom bracket. Perhaps most curious, it appears the fork was bent at some point or not built straight in the first place. Rather than bend it into shape on a jig, the right front fork end was modified to make the front axle perpendicular to the main triangle:

Here's another Masi Nuovo Strada, smaller, more than twice as expensive, and blue. Still, it's a Masi. Odd mix of parts... Three-arm Gran Sport crank. Weren't they gone by the time this model was imported?

Independent Fabrication Crown Jewel - $850

This is a stock 56cm IF Crown Jewel from 1998, confirmed with serial number enquiry. It is Reynolds 853. I built it up with a campy 9 speed Daytona group set last year. Wheels are campy Vento G3. PM me for the geometry chart that IF sent. Listing it for local pickup in the Providence or Boston area as I don't have time right now to package and ship it. $850.00

In response to some inquiries, no rust, dents or dings. Paint looks great w/only minimal scars touched up with clear nail polish (prior owner touched up seat stays w/a close color match).

Brooks saddle pictured is only item not included. A Selle Anatomica brown leather saddle is included.

That's really charming. My daughters were just 10 months apart. I could see them on that, once they became old enough. They're old enough to have their own kids now.
