Ross 10 Speed Bicycle | eBay

I would grab this as a Vintage Ross lover. But not from Indiana.
+1 on Vintage Ross. When they put their mind to it they made some sweet frames

Dang it, somebody needs to get this one before I drive 2 hours out there for it. it's been on for a month. It's not even close to my size! Tange Champion frame, 105 wheelset, and 600 Arabesque group.

"Beautiful KHS Turbo for sale. Large size frame, 63cm. Newer bottom bracket, chain, stem, bars and bar tape. Original Shimano 600 brakes, FD and shift levers. Paint and chrome on this bike are in great condition. Check out the pics and send me a text if you have any questions, thanks."

San Jose CL has a 1956 East German Diamant track bike, apparently with original paint. Comes with two wheelsets, both with East German hubs. Would love to see it if nothing else.

Bicycle Quarterly published a write-up on East German cycling a couple of issues back.

Not likely, the Salvation Army bike has taped bars, the flipper's doesn't. Also, $425 for for and HLE tubeset is 2X what a pristine one would bring.

Always some fantastic deals popping up in this thread, it's probably a good thing they're in all 50 states. Imagine if you could buy any of them with free shipping. I'd pretty much be broke and own dozens of bikes, lol.

Keen eyes! I actually talked to him earlier, he mentioned it's not the same bike. But that's not the story behind the tape - he sells most (if not all) of his bikes w/o tape. Too many people were *****ing about the way the levers and tape were setup, so he doesn't sell any bikes taped unless you request it, then he adjusts the brakes with you on-site and tapes it right there for you. He's a really interesting fellow, bought a bike from him in the past.

I think the Salvation Army's bike was 60, not 62 (can't recall how/why I thought it was 60), paint was definitely in better shape. Oh well! I guess we've got three Tourmalets within a 10 mile range, pearl, in 57, 60, and 62?

Nice bike if you need index.

I am digging the colour of this De Rosa in Ventura and the panto'd bits are a nice touch. It's pretty reasonable at the $1000 asking price too, depending on what kind of shifters are on the bike.

This morning in the Sacramento area there are three different Trek 850's (not 820's or 800's) each for less than $100

This reminds me - there's been this De Rosa with a weird mish-mash of parts sitting on eBay for weeks that's currently at $750 starting or $1050 B-I-N. Wondering if it's because Campagnolo is misspelled.

That Alenax Transbar might be worth having just for the look on people's faces as you rode by...

Could be because the seller is new and doesn't have much feedback. Looks like a decent deal if the seller is legitimate.

Wow no kidding - giving it away is right. Unfortunatelty I guess the small frame kills it for many, and of course older mtbs dont get much love anymore from a $ perspective.

Could be wrong, but I thought this was a crazy low price for NOS Shimano 105 aero hoods. $10
